I became interested in genealogy after my mom died. My sis and I found a large box of old obits that had been saved by mom and her mother. It took me one winter to sort the obits and start a family file for them. From that point on, I was "hooked". I have located relatives in many states and in Germany.
When I have time, I go to local cemeteries and take photos of tombstones.
When I am not working on family histories, I love to garden and in the winter, i do needlework.
