Fallen Graver

Sadly, Fawn has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find a Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find a Grave.

Bio

I am a quilter! I piece together fabric in the traditional way but also the people of past generations. Just as in making a conventional quilt, all must be pieced together with extreme accuracy, or the outcome will be disastrous. There are no shortcuts that can be taken. The beauty of the quilt can only be truly appreciated by the maker who has personally put their heart and soul into the construction and has had to take out the stitches of the piece that just will not fit.

DO NOT ADD TO MY MEMORIALS:
DEATH CERTIFICATES
NEWSPAPER OBITUARY IMAGES/SCANS

The ones that have been posted to my memorials are all copyright material. Downloading and reposting any image from another website is copyright infringement. Also, be aware that in some states it is illegal to electronically post any vital records. It is punishable with a very hefty fine.

Do not ask me to post obituaries on my memorials unless they are out of copyright. Find A Grave rules state 1922 or earlier and in public domain. Spend your time writing a personal story about the individual.

It is so sad to see so many long time contributors becoming inactive. I totally understand how all of this constant edit stuff is driving them nuts.

I appreciate edits if I have made a typing error but constant requests to add copyright obituaries, or suggestions to add erroneous information (copied from some online tree), is overwhelming. I am on DIALUP service and it takes me hours just to sort through all of this. We are volunteers!

I would much rather have edits sent to me by e-mail with a source cited.

Photos are, and remain, the property of the contributor. No downloading and posting to other web sites! All of the photos submitted by me to Find A Grave, memorials and cemeteries, are copyrighted by me. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited. Written permission must be obtained for any use!

Upon my passing, the full size images and my copyright will be donated to the various genealogical and historical societies that I am a member of. These organizations will need to know to whom I have given permission to for personal use.

I am willing to transfer ownership of my memorials to family members using Find A Grave's standards. I will not transfer if they are my family or allied family members.
