My very sincere thanks to everyone who is pitching in and helping photograph the graves of Able Company. I really did not expect a response of this magnitude!|
I am a mid-twenties part-time historian living in Brooklyn. My primary purpose for this site is to keep track of family members, and Marines who served with my ancestor 1st Lt. Philip Wood in Able Company, 24th Marines.
If anyone has any information about any of the profiles I have posted, please let me know!
In addition to the names listed here, I am actively seeking information on any members of A Company, 1st Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment.
If I can be of any help locating your military ancestors, please don't hesitate to ask!
Through their sacrifice may we learn not to repeat the mistakes of the past.

Every strange. It still shows as an x in a tiny box with IE11. The photo appears fine using Chrome and Firefox. Oh well. We tried.

Please delete and re-upload your photo. It's not showing properly.

You have made a photo request for Richard Rusher in Green Mount Cemetery, CHESTER County.
This entry is misplaced, as he already exists in Green Mount Cemetery in YORK County.
The veteran's burial card says York County & the tombstone images are already on the York one.
Therefore, it will be impossible to fulfill your photo request in Chester County.

I saw that you had a photo request for a Walter Willard in the Culbreth Cemetery in Fayetteville,Nc.....It is a really small cemetery and when I was there I took pics of all the graves and added them to f.a.g.....their were several that you could not read...I added several that were unknown, maybe he is one of them ?Thks

New St. Peter is a very large cemetery. In the past, I have waited two and three months for responses to my inquiries as to locations of graves. This will go a lot faster if you call the cemetery directly and ask for the information as a relative. If you will provide a Section and Plot number for Ernest Tykarski, I will be happy to go over and take a picture. The phone number for St. Peter's is 203-743-9626. Thank you.
