Bio

I was fortunate enough to have inherited the genealogical findings that my mother had put together over a thirty year period. A few years after her death I opened the box to sort through the pictures and became immediately hooked. With the many different resources available to me that she didn't have, I have been able to knock down some of her brick walls and I do enjoy the challenge of chipping away at those that remain. Additions to her research have included the families of my in-laws, my daughter-in-law and son-in-law plus the families of my brother-in-law.
I spend a great deal of time volunteering in the genealogical field as web master of the web sites for 11 genealogical societies. I am Past President of Midwest Historical & Genealogical Society, Wichita, KS and served on their board in other capacities and have done a great deal of indexing of records for them.
I retired, after working many years as an office administrator, in 2007 so now have more time than ever to spend on this hobby.
