RE: Mary Ethel Roberts Corbin Rancier
Hello, thank you for your information. And thank you for taking the time to add the extra information. I didn't realize italicized meant maiden name (not enough coffee!) I actually have quite a bit of information about her (from family members and Royal B.C. Museum too)but was surprised to see her full name on the website as we were aware that there was a Rancier man in her life, but we were not aware that they were married. Do you mind if I ask, do you know if her last name "Rancier" is on the headstone? Or her husbands first name?
Thanks again,
Leslee

Mary Ethel Roberts Corbin Rancier
Hello, I am trying to find out more information regarding 'Mary Ethel Roberts Corbin Rancier" at the Hazelwood Cemetary in Abbotsford, B.C. It looks like the name 'Corbin' has been added in your heading. She is my great-grandmother and that was her maiden name. Curious to know anything you can tell me. Is this something you can help me with?
Thank you, Leslee

RE: Robert Eddy
Hello Angels Chattering, thank you for the information. I had not seen the Irish Can. Cultural Assoc. of NB site, thank you. I found the record for Robert Francis and Jane here

http://www.newirelandnb.ca/Genealogies-E/Eddy.html

This info fits with what I know; they were from Bandon Ireland and settled in New Bandon. I was not aware of all the children listed, so thank you for the help.

RE: Your Question
Aaaaah that sounds like a plausible explanation! Thank you!

Me and my dad talked about doing that for my grandpa. We scattered his ashes, but we wanted to put a plaque with "OP" and the rest of the Jones family in Surrey Centre Cemetery.

Thanks for explanation :)

Hi Angelschattering!
Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you! Getting a back to normal life after the holidays is always a challenge lol

I love that u used to know Oliver! I obviously never got to meet him, but if my grandfathers personality was any indication of what his father was like, I'm sure he was very interesting and funny!

So did he go by OP? (Oliver Paul)
I know his brother went by PL because he HATED his name Price. No typo, his name really was Price lol PL = Price Llewellyn. Did u know him too?

I spend about 4 hours at the library helping my friend catch the genealogy bug as well :)

Thank you for agreeing to send me everyone!it is appreciated!

It would be great to live closer to that area! New England is nice but it's so far from everything

I was hoping the places might sound familiar. I've been to all the southern provinces but not that far north, I can imagine there are lots of small towns. Canada to be such a beautiful country!

Thanks so much for the edits and have a great day!
