If there is a memorial I have added for someone you would like transferred to you, please just let me know, as long as they are not a relative or close friend of mine. I love being able to help honor those that have passed on before us! If you find a photo that you would like to have that I have posted for a loved one you are more than welcome to copy them yourselves.|
I spend a lot of time walking the cemeteries and getting information and photos for the memorials, but my purpose is not to have "ownership" of them, but to make as many available for family, loved ones and genealogy researchers that I can.
I would like to especially thank Charlotte Stevens Schneider, without her help I would not be able to complete alot of the memorials I have done. She has been diligent in finding obituaries and dates for so many of the memorials we have worked on!
I am so sad to say that Charlotte passed away on February 11, 2011. She will be so missed by all that knew and loved her! Charlotte is now rejoicing in the presence of our Lord!

Sorry I have taken so long to respond to you, but I have been on vacation for the past two weeks. The grave is located on an old homeplace (I found bricks) beside the old road that use to be traveled. This grave is located on property that is now the large power plant there in Pryor under large transmission lines. I have been told that this was the homeplace of the family. There is a chain link fence along the road. We had a man take us to the site but he would not let us go the the graveyard because of liability. I sneaked back, crawled over the fence and took the photos. This is the only marker in the plot. The power company has enclosed the gravesite with steel pipes to prevent the mowers from doing harm. If you go on the powerplant you will have to locate the large steel towers that carry the power lines out of the plant. You most likely will turn to the left of the road you enter on and there will be an old chain link fence along that road. My number is 662-286-9404 if you need additional help. Please erase this message from your findagrave page after you record my phone number. Hope to hear from you. Belle is my wife's great aunt.

Hi Donna. I am so sorry to hear of Charlotte's passing. I am under construction right now and won't be able to get to my family book til this evening but wanted to go ahead and give you a shout on this. If you would, I would love it if you would go ahead and transfer Charles over to me. He is my cousin's wife. You transferred Carrie over to me a while back. My #47349735. Thank you so much.

Hello Searching the Past, You wrote me a note about: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=39075580
When I went to 'your' page, I saw that you had a page called BAHS... WELL, I could hardly believe it.. I just HAD to KNOW that it meant Broken Arrow High School... as in the town of Broken Arrow, OK... That is where my husband and I basically raised our children (with the exception of 4 years spent in KC Ks)... I was co-founder of the BA Genealogy Society in 1977 and served as president for the first year. My husband had two sisters and a brother who lived in BA before we did and we moved there because of them in Sept 1970.. My two sons graduated 1980, daughter 1982 and the last daughter didn't finish school. I worked for 8 years at Arrow Flowers & Gifts there in BA. Would like to know more about who you are, etc. Still have friends there, although we haven't kept in touch very much. I currently live in Inola, OK. Hoping that you will answer, I am.. Eddene Hightower Thompson...
Thank you for your effort in trying to get his picture. Bless you for taking the time to do this. Ann

Sorry, I had sent the message before I was through.
Anyhow Find A Grave Memorial# 28669257 is my wife's grandmother. I suspect there is a birth and death date on the stone. We have:
26 Jun 1904 in Atkins, Pope, Arkansas
6 Sep 1933 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
(but removed back home in Muskogee)
But don't put the birth and death on this until we can get better verification. two sets of records we have has 2 different dates. I picture of the tombstone might help.
She should be buried close to her husband Lee Roy Lenon who died in Calif in 1952 or her parents, Florence E and James F. Furr. We are 90% sure her husband is buried in Calif, however.
Thanks for your help. Randy and Peg.
PS: We think there is another mis-spelling as her middle name is MAE and not MAY. thanks again Randy

I THANK YOU so much for trying to find my great-aunt's grave; AND for the flowers. What a thoughtful, generous soul you have. Thanks for letting me know who she is buried between; if I'm ever able to get there at least I will know where to visit. Deb

Hi, Thanks for taking your time to photo my Aunt's grave site. I didn't realize she didn't have a stone.
