I have been working on my family history for 30 years. Four years ago a friend of mine and I decided it would be fun to physically read the tombstones in the local cemeteries. After the readings we add the information to FindAGrave and local libraries. We trust that this will help others with their searches. If you wish to make additions to entries I have made I will be happy to update them with your information. Good luck in your searches.
Arla Lung 48662556 Hi Penny: Have been working on family history. I use Findagrave a lot. Thank you so much for all the important work you do. You have a typo on the birthdate of Arla. It should be 1889 not 1899. The year 1889 is on the headstone. Thank you so much. Arla was the first husband of my great Aunt Florence Lorena Kester. They were only married a year. Have a great day.
RE: Baughman Family Penny, please email me at email@example.com as I have two links that I would like to send you. One for Norman S and the other for David H. Still looking for Mary Jane. Thanks, Colleen
Thank you so much for the transfer! My dad told me about her parents a long time ago... Dad knew so much of our family, and most of them did even know him... But his dad (my grandpa) talked to him about the family and dad passed it all down to us. Because of dad, I started looking for everyone and have been doing it for over 20 years!!
John Greer (1826-1907) Hi Penny, thank you so much for posting gravestones from Fort Wayne, Indiana! They are so helpful. Just wondering where you got the information that John Greer (1826-1907) was born in Philadelphia? I'd love to confirm this as it would really help us extend the Greer line if we knew for sure where he was born.
