Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been working on my family history for 30 years. Four years ago a friend of mine and I decided it would be fun to physically read the tombstones in the local cemeteries. After the readings we add the information to FindAGrave and local libraries. We trust that this will help others with their searches. If you wish to make additions to entries I have made I will be happy to update them with your information. Good luck in your searches.

RE: James W Crosby
I thought the website Find a Grave, was about people who had passed, not headstones found in a cemetery that do not have record of their burial. What purpose does that serve to know a person has a headstone in a cemetery, but may or may not be deceased? That person may have died and buried in another cemetery. I have found that with several of my relatives. They have a headstone with both their names, but because the death of the latter was so many years later, they ended up being buried in another state. I do not think a persons burial should be recorded on "Find a Grave" unless there is record of their death and burial in that cemetery. Very misleading for people who are trying to track where their descendants have been laid to rest. I believe I will talk to a Church leader concerning this. But thanks for what you people do, other than false recording of burials.

James W Crosby
Grave Memorial# 54484602

Hello, I am working on my family tree and James W Crosby is my 4th cousin. I almost have this line in my family completed. I can not find a record for his death, and "Find a Grave" list it as Unknown. I have tried to locate burial records from Saint Peters Lutheran Evangelist Cemetery with no luck, checked Social Security, Indiana Death records, etc. Can you tell me how a person can be listed in Find a Grave, with death date unknown? Is there a headstone, or a burial record with his name on it? I would just like to resolve his history. Any information you might give would be appreciated. Thanks,

ME
Dishong
My second great grandmother was Margaret Dishong whom married, Hugh Dillon in 1879. They are married in Indiana in 1880 census. On ACGSI website a marriage lic for Margaret and Isaac Herring
I can't seem to find a death nor divorce from Hugh Dillon. A directory of 1883 Wayne township has a Hugh Dillon listed on Heritage Quest. --1900 census has Isaac Herring his wife married seven yrs . On ACGSI court records for their divorce. . 1920 census Margaret is living in the household of Charles and Hattie Dillon, my great grandparents. I have no other information on her after that. Do you have any information?
Just recently on ACGSI I have found a marriage license for Laura Dillon, which listed her parents as Hugh Dillon and Margaret Dishong, until then , I didnt know Charles Dillon had a sister. Any information that you could share would be a great help. On my Dishong line

Clarence G Bunch, born 9 SEP 1941
Dear Penny,
I'm very far related to Clarence G Bunch. What does it mean, that there is no date of death on his grave stone. Is he still alive?
What is your idea?
Thank you

Margaret Helmke #53212488
Hi Penny, Thank you for your speedy response. I didn't realize what a task I was taking on. A little family history: Grandma had 5 children, Otto had 8 and together they had 5.

Would you please add Margarets maiden name Fusselman.

Thanks again
