Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been working on my family history for 30 years. Four years ago a friend of mine and I decided it would be fun to physically read the tombstones in the local cemeteries. After the readings we add the information to FindAGrave and local libraries. We trust that this will help others with their searches. If you wish to make additions to entries I have made I will be happy to update them with your information. Good luck in your searches.

!st thank you for recording so many graves. Tis a very good thing you are doing. 2nd I was at Thomas' site in 2014 and the obit was not in place. It is a work of love. I was wondering who wrote it. I write some of my families obituaries and know there is a beautiful heart behind this one.

My great-great grandmother was Elizabeth Ray and I am trying to get some of the Rays connected to parents and spouses on find-a- grave. Thomas would be a first cousin (according to ancestry), 3X removed

Parents of Laura Smith Shaneburger
Hello Penny,
I am looking for the burial sites for William Alhander Smith 1853- 1914 & Evangeline "Eva" Ross Smith 1850-1942. They are the parents of Laura Belle Mith Shanaberger. Burial: Prairie Grove Cemetery Fort Wayne, Allen County Indiana, USA Created by: Penny Baughman North Record added: Sep 04, 2008 Find A Grave Memorial# 29574967.

His death cert states he is buried in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Have you seen the tombstone of either William or Evangeline? He is my great uncle.
Thank you,
Beverly Smith Leach

Baughman Family
Penny, I saw your posting of Francis R. Baughman Find A Grave #58717906. He had a sister named Mary Jane Baughman who married a Southworth and later a Hinkley. Do you have any information on her as to her place and date of death? Any information would be appreciated. I descend from the Baughman line through Henry Baughman Sr and Anna Margaret Sager. I look forward to your reply. Colleen

This Find A Grave# is one that belongs to my brother, Michael E Mathews. Would you please transfer the management of this memorial to me? My Find A Grave# is 47973088; my name is Sharon Mathews Robinson. I would be ever so thankful! I, do, respect and honor the diligence that people like yourself devote ... to the research and time of locating the grave-sites of ancestors of genealogy seekers. Thankfully, SMR

I believe you have created two memorials for the same person but the last name is spelled differently. Dawn Marie Brott, #77566803 (I believe this is the correct spelling) and Dawn Marie Barott, #76802152. Could you please check this out. Thanks. Barb
