RE: Schneider Headstones...
Hi Martha, you are welcome. I also took a pic of Kevin Schneider that is 1 row over, and 1 spot over. Take care, Bob.

RE: Edson Union
Martha, You are very welcome. My family has a summer cabin not far from Edson and Boyd. I go past there every time I am in the area. A very good friend of mine is the sexton of Edson Union and is helping locate gravesites. She has been in the area quite awhile and is familiar with a lot of the families.

Zelina and Maria Shilts
Zelina and Maria Shilts are buried between Andrew & Lydia Shilts and Mary Shilts, wife of Chester. I have no stones for them -- and their names are in parenthesis in the Edson Union records. I suspect they had no stones. Both have dates and are followed by "cemetery book." There is another interesting thing here. The graves are in Section B, Row 6. They are in a group of graves from #15 - #20. Buried at #15, apparently with no stone, is Charles F Shilts, son of B.V. and B.J. Shilts, August 29, 1889 - Octover 7, 1889. (In parentheses.) #16 is Lydia and #17 is Andrew. #18 is Zelina and #19 is Maria. #20 is Mary, wife of Chester. I have no idea who Charles is or who his parents would be. Maybe you could figure this out. I added him to the cemetery record here -- and can easily transfer him to you if he's related to you, too.

Oh, one thing I forgot to note about Susan Hayes. There is a note in the book that "John Hayes pd $2 on lot." You might know who he would be.

Jackson and George Shilts
Louvicy, Jackson, and George Shilts are buried in Section B, Row 7, graves #21, #22, and #23. #21 is Louvicy, #22 is Jackson, #23 is George. In the Edson Union Cemetery Records, Jackson and George are in parenthesis with their names and "cemetery book" noted behind their names, also in parentheses. This probably means there are no stones. There are dates in the book for Jackson, but no dates noted for George. I took a picture of Louvicy's monument. Again, I went and changed the order of my pictures from alphabetical to the order in which they were taken. I have no other Shilts stones pictured besides Louvicy. It is possible, however, that there names are somewhere on Louvicy's monument and simply are no longer legible.
Again, I will drive to the cemetery and check.

Susan Hayes
Susan is buried in Section B (just to the north of Section A), Row 12, grave #11. She is buried next to Myrtle Shilts Killen. Irwin Shilts is buried in grave #9, Myrtle in grave #10 and Susan in grave #11. I took pictures of that entire row. I've re-ordered my pictures in order of when they were taken. I have no picture for Susan Hayes' grave and I took a picture of every little bit of stone there was, even if it was illegible. I suspect she has no stone, but I will go to the cemetery and check it out to be sure. (She is in parentheses as well.)

Carrie Amelia and Cecil Shilts
Carrie Amelia and Cecil are buried in Section A (the southernmost section), row 2 (counting from the road), graves #44 and #45. The information regarding them is in parentheses in the records from the Edson Union Cemetery records. This usually means there is no stone. However, a footstone is noted for Carrie. So, according to the historian, it is either missing or illegible. Cecil is buried in grave #44, Carrie Amelia in grave #45, James Shilts is buried in grave #46 and (unknown) is buried in grave #47. Do you know why she would be buried beside James?
