RE: Louis Piro
Glad I could help. The stone is quite large. I believe there is room to add Louis's name and dates if you choose. The cemetery office can help. They do the work and can quote a price and timeframe.

Michael B. Scanlon [Mt. Olivet D.C]
It appears that he played ball during his time as a teenager in the Civil War. Using his Army pay in 1866 bought a bar/poolhall @ 9th & S in D.C. bearing his name for 65 years. Pushed for forming of D.C. Baseball and located their 1st field, and helped chose location for Griffith Stadium it's longtime ballpark. Founded D.C. team in 1871...Info in Shirley Povich's History of Senators c 1954.

Hello Adam,

Looks as if your computer hiccoughed when you were entering the memorial for Edward Sykes.

Sykes, Edward 102163665

All were entered on December 14, 2012.

Looks like the last one - 102163665 - has links etc so that may be the 'keeper' :)

Don't you hate when your computer gets wonky? Thank you for taking care of this :) Off to find 'my' Edward Sykes!
