You can add me to the list of genealogy-addicts! My first experience was when my daddy asked me to put his family on a computer in 1987. I repeated this endeavor on my mother's family in 1989 and I'm still working on it. Both of her parents were born in Smith County, Tennessee. |
Surnames include Beasley, Bradley, Boston, Chaffin, Cox, Davis, Dickens, Garrett, Gregory, Hackett, Hall Haynie, Herod, Key, Nunley, Shoulders, Stovall, Taylor & Turner.

Sorry for the late reply; moving has been a bit of a nightmare (I think it always is!) Thank you for your lovely note about missing Montana. I'm near the ocean now, and the mountains aren't far, so it's not so bad. =)
I saw you mentioned "my Montana family." Are there folks in the Corvallis Cemetery who you'd like management of? I'd be happy to transfer, just let me know.

My 3rd Gr. Father is buried in that cemetery & I had submitted some data a few years back on his line, to the Haywood Co. web page. After discovering Find A Grave, I've submitted any body & everything I have or can find/prove, to connect families & generations.
If you're interested or have additional data, I'd be glad to transfer any or all of the "Key s" to your care. Just let me know.

I send 'census' info when I've also sent a family link request or other update - name, etc. Some contributors on Findagrave will not 'approve' an edit, unless I send 'proof' of the requested change - so i usually send the 'proof' just in case.

I am doing Ellen Manuel's edits for her while she is ill.
Thank you for letting us know about the 2 memorial pages. The one in the Union #1 Cemetery had the incorrect dates on it and was listed under William Roscoe Agers when it should have been Roscoe Agers with the dates of 1910-1966. The other memorial page is his brother, William, with the dates of 1901-1966. I have them now linked to their parents:
I also requested links for another brother, Otis Roscoe Agers:
Thank you again!!!

Thanks for the update on Robbie King memorial.
I knew Robbie and that she was married to Howard King but the parent info was added by a SAC from Dianne Agee on May 15, 2015. Retta and I both recall seeing a file on her in association with the Beasleys at our archives work session but cannot remember the details. This makes a interesting question as to whether you add the actual parents or adoptive parents to a memorial. Let me know if you find further.
Say hello to your mom for us.

Gallatin on the remaining portion of the Alexander

I respectfully request a transfer of this memorial. Ina Iola Chaffin Barrick was my maternal grandmother. Thank you so much.
I am looking for a Thomas E Hackett that was a truck driver in the 1950's. Please contact me if this sounds like a Thomas Hackett that you are related to.
Are you related to the Alexanders. Edward Alexander
is my maternal grandfather.
