A native Nashvillian, I've been into genealogy since my daddy asked me to put his family on a computer in 1987. Two years later I repeated this endeavor on my mother's side of the family. A lot has changed since then, but finding and recording family members remains a fascination (aka addiction).
RE: Thank you ... Hi Tina, Thanks for the update on Robbie King memorial. I knew Robbie and that she was married to Howard King but the parent info was added by a SAC from Dianne Agee on May 15, 2015. Retta and I both recall seeing a file on her in association with the Beasleys at our archives work session but cannot remember the details. This makes a interesting question as to whether you add the actual parents or adoptive parents to a memorial. Let me know if you find further. Say hello to your mom for us. John
RE: Relationships Horace M. Alexander was my grandfather's brother. He has a gran dson John Alexander still living in Gallatin on the remaining portion of the Alexander Home, once owned by Horace. Thanks, Jerome Johnson firstname.lastname@example.org
James Ballou #24708101 Hi. I declined your edit for addition of his birthdate as it appears you calculated it based on his stated age at death. The age was taken from the cemetery records and they are often wrong often. I usually only add a calculated date if it is an infant of only a few days or months old. And, I found his obituary and it stated a different age in days at death by a few days. Therefore, I elect not to calculate but let whoever is interested calculate it on their own based on the information I have posted. Thanks.
