In appreciation for what others have done and all the hard work that happens here I will try to put back as much as I have received. I will try to add names and pictures from my own area. If you find one of your relatives that I have entered and the information is incorrect or you do not want it on this site, please contact me and we will correct or remove as quickly as possible. You also have my permission to use any of the pictures I have put on this site for your own personal family use. No need to ask. If you want a family member's memorial transferred to you, just ask.|
If I am able to fulfill requests for names, photos or other additional information, please feel free to request.
Happy hunting to everyone of you who are out there searching and trying to fill in all the open spaces in family history. And, thank you to all the hard working volunteers that make this site so great.

How are you? I was hoping you might remember the map you sent me a couple of years ago? It was Columbus on one side and Platte County on the other side. My pioneer cemetery commission is going to make one like that. But, mine is so beat up, it's falling apart. Is there anyway I could get a new one? I will pay for it.
Thanks - Stacey

Would greatly appreciate it!!!! pls look for Daniel, too!!! thanks so much!!! :) k
I have an obit for the Fredrick Meedel buried in Gruetli Cemetery and he isn't married to Ella Blaser. There must be second Fredrick Meedel that she was married to. This Fredrick was married to Louise Plagemann Meedel. I have both Frederick and Louise's obits. I can give them to you later. Carol

Thank you so much for the obituary for Sadie. She was my wife's great aunt. This was a great surprise for us to receive. I will be posting it to the memorial today.
Thank you again,

Great!!! I'll try to remember!!! SO many are uncooperative about adding obits!!!
|Colleen German||RE: Biermann Children|
I had a chance to talk to my mother-in-law this week. The Biermann children would have been aunts and uncles to her. She believes the graves of these children were not marked. She also had two brothers who died in infancy, and their graves were not marked either. They were buried in the corner of the cemetery with the other babies. I suppose there wasn't enough money for such expenditures. Very sad.
You mentioned you had previously photographed the whole cemetery. I don't think there is a need to return to the cemetery to check on these. Thank you anyway!

First, THANK YOU for the many photos you have taken. I find your name attached to so many of my husband's family. I really appreciate your efforts!
The next time you are at St Bernard's Cemetery, I was wondering if you could look for some of the Biermann children. I don't have a lot of information but this is what I have:
Parents: William & Theresia Biermann
Mary - b. abt 1890 and died at age 18
Fred - b. abt 1899 and died at age 5
Charles - died age 3
Joseph - died age 2 **
**Joseph, if correct, would be a name used twice in the same family. There is another Joseph 1904-1950. I have the newspaper obit from William and it mentions Joseph preceeding him in death, so this would be the toddler. Somewhere I've acquired the 'died at age 2' thing. This may not be a good name??
Thank you in advance for anything you can find.
Darn, thank you for the information but it does nothing to help me. I guess I will just have to keep banging my head against that invisible wall to find such information as it is not searchable so far on the internet.
Again, thank you!
