My interest in genealogy began as a class project in 7th grade. I was very fortunate to have both grandmothers and a great grandmother living at the time and was able to glean a wealth of information from them. I've learned that it is important to get the information on siblings and in-laws because you never know when a connection will be made...my tree looks more like a vine than a tree!
