Bio and Links
Bio Photo To the many friends that Mary Ann made through find a grave, I thank each and every one of you for your kindness to my Sweet wife. She lost her battel with Cancer at 9:46 A M Feb 9, 2013 and went home to be with her Lord and Savior.
Anyone that wants a memorial transferred to them from her work, except for her family member memorials, can contact me at rwfdville@cableone.net and I will work with you to transfer your request.
Again thanks to all of you who have contributed to her happyness in working on FAG. It was truly her passion to help others find the graves of their loved ones. May God Bless you all. Richard Ferguson

I have been doing genealogy since 1988. I am 69, retired, live in Anniston, Al. I was born and raised at Jacksonville (Bonny Brook, White's Gap and J'ville.) Alabama. I have 2 sons and 1 daughter, 3 granddaughters and 3 grandsons and they are GREAT!!! I am able to cover not only Calhoun Co. but also surrounding counties: Cleburne, Cherokee, and Talladega, Co. My husband is retired also. This is our pasttime. My family connections are Gay/Brown, Clay/Bonds, Zeigler/Baggett, and Mayes/Fair. My husband's family names are Prior/Ferguson, Fondren, Scarbrough, Atchley and Teal.

I have taken parts of many cemeteries in Cleburne, Cherokee and Calhoun Counties and some of the smaller cemeteries I have taken photos of all the markers in them but I have not had time to post all my photos on f a g. We have made several trips to Chester, Union & Fairfield co., S.C. and done extensive cemetery surveys in Chester co., S.C. as my husband's Fergusons came here from there. We gladly share what we found from there.

If I have posted a memorial for someone and did not add the dates yet, I will get to them because I don't add a memorial unless I have taken the photo and have the info for it but just have to have time to finish the project. Please bear w/me as I try to finish these cemeteries. If I have made an error on a memorial I will gladly correct it. If I have added a memorial for one of your close family members, I will gladly transfer it to you and I would appreciate the same w/transfering any of my family members to me. HAPPY HUNTING!

THESE PHOTOS ARE FOR YOUR FAMILY RESEARCH ONLY!!! DO NOT TAKE MY PHOTOS I HAVE PERSONALLY TAKEN AND PLACED ON MY FAMILY TREE ON ANCESTRY.COM AND POST THEM ON FINDAGRAVE AT ALL....PERIOD......ONLY I HAVE THE RIGHT TO POST THEM ON FINDAGRAVE OR ANYWHERE ELSE!!!! I DO HAVE THE COPYRIGHT TO THEM!!! PLEASE READ FINDAGRAVE RULES CONCERNING THIS. IT IS COVERED IN THEIR INFO.

Before you CLICK THE BROWSE button to select your pic to be downloaded.... read the photo guidelines that are stated right there.... the LAST SENTENCE SAYS -------
"NO PHOTOS FROM OTHER WEB SITES"..... THAT MEANS ANCESTRY.COM-----ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY AREN'T YOUR PHOTOS TO BEGIN WITH!!! I have gone out in 100 degree weather, freezing weather, fought wasp, ants, gnats and you sit there in your chair and post my photos as one you went out and took.... I DON'T THINK SO!! IF THERE IS A MEMORIAL THAT I MAY HAVE A PHOTO OF, PLEASE MAKE A PHOTO REQUEST FOR IT.... DON'T TAKE THE LIBERTY OF PLACING MY PHOTO FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE ON IT FOR YOURSELF OR ADDING MY NAME AFTER THE FACT!

I have recently had the experience of losing my baby girl (tho she was 44 on Oct. 7, 2011) and only daughter to being murdered. I am sooooo crazy from this shocking incident and may make mistakes on fag and please forgive me for those things as I am trying to keep my mind occupied but I am not having much luck at that. No one should ever have the experience of burying one of their children. I had 1 daughter and 2 sons--- now our baby girl is forever gone due to some evil people. I am in such pain, it is undescribable. Please pray for our families as we live thru this unbearable time. I buried my mama in January and now have this to live with.

I am currently taking chemo for lung cancer and have long periods of being sick from it. If I don't get right to some of your corrections and family connections, etc., please understand.

Anyone wanting photo request from Forestlawn Gardens in Anniston, Ala., they are charging us $45.00 per name & location when WE ask them for the grave locations. If you will call them for your family photo request, they will give the locations to family and you can relay the locations to me as I have the maps for each garden and lot numbers. Their phone no. is 256-237-3611. This will help tremendously getting your photo request for Forestlawn.

Looking for an uncle
Hello. I'm so very sorry to hear of your loss. Losing loved ones is a heartbreak that rarely heals. I came across her page looking for my aunt's deceased husband hoping to find information. Anniston, Alabama caught my eye. I have kin through my mother from Walnut Grove, Anniston, and Dothan, Alabama if memory serves.

Some family names are Speight, Robbins, and Garlington.

I'm looking for Patrick (Pat) White. He was my uncle by marriage who died before I was born or shortly thereafter. I believed he burned to death.

Can you help me at all?

The loss of Mary Ann in your family saddens all of us. A great contributor of memorials and photographs for this great website and such an inspiration to all as she continued the work during her illness. I hesitate to ask, but she added two tombstone photos on my great-great grandmother's memorial (#13916797 S.M. Griffin) and if those were deleted our family could add more family pictures, since it takes up all the spaces. I do not know if Mary Ann was a descendant of this person - if she was, please leave the photos. In grateful appreciation for all she did to assist others and thanks to you for carrying on her work. Kind regard, ngl

Answer to Mary A B Ferguson request
Hello Mr Ferguson

I am writing for two reasons. One, to thank you for working on find a grave.

Two, to fulfill the request made by your fallen fellow find a graver Mary Ann Baggett Ferguson. On James Lewis Baggetts memorial Mary Ann wanted the birth and death dates of James Madison Baggett. I have them,, B: Feb 1825, Death June 24 1865. her request was on James Lewis Baggett find a grave memorial.

Maybe you could pass this info onto her family.

Thank you
