Thanks to this site I have been able to find many of my lost relatives, so I joined Find A Grave to "Pay if Forward" .|
I try to put as much info as I can to help those searching for family history/genealogy as possible.
I try to not to duplicate memorials, but if I do please let me know, so I can delete. I always try check after entering each one to be sure that I don't duplicated one.
Once you add a memorial, go to the left of the page, click on:
"Find all Smith's in:"
• Fort John's National
If you click on the first one listed you can check to see if you duplicated your memorial. If more of us do this, there would be a lot less duplicates, and it would keep the site much neater.
If I have done it first then it is NOT mine to delete.
It's important to keep the memorials clean and complete as possible, for the families of those dearly departed. For some, this may be their only memorial they can visit, especially if they live far away.
Feel free to use the photos taken by me, they are available for use by anyone who desires to use a photo for any reason without having to ask my permission. It would be nice if you gave me credit for them if you place them on another site.

Thank you so much for transferring him to me and thank you for your prayers. We miss him dearly! Along with the loss of Uncle Randol my sister passed away on 3/5/2014, so we are suffering so much! Our losses are huge right now and knowing that prayers are coming our way makes it a bit easier! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Sharon :-)

|Gary & Merleen Ellis||Sheila's stone|
Thank you so much for letting me know her stone is up. Yes, it is beautifully done. Now her page is complete. Will let all her children and other family members know.
|Sue Hawk Ridgley||Thank you|
Imagine my surprise when I sat down today after Dad's services to see that you had already made the memorial page for me. Not only that, you gave it to me to maintain. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. I have worked on Long Point Cemetery records for the past two years and almost have them all transcribed, but it is a big job. May God bless you for your kindness. Sue Hawk Ridgley

Thank you so much for reqesting a photo of Sheila's stone for me. So much appreciated.
I will give it a month to see if it shows up.
Her funeral mass is going on now as I write.
She was a wonderful sister with many talents.
Also will keep a check on her beloved husband John to see if his page gets corrected.
Will be glad when this sad day is over.

Pertaining to Asbury Cemetery in Barr, Macoupin County, Illinois, USA, Memorial #'s 25744261 and 25744270 for Adam Roller and Martha Crouch Roller respectively: I just re-started doing genealogy and I have a connection to the Rollers. In 1998 I was researching George Allen Roller thru his death certificate. He passed on 5/25/1977 in Slater, Saline County, Illinois. He named my father's mother (Carrie E. Chandler)in his will and, since both she and my father (Wilbur F. Chandler) were deceased, the notice of his will came to me. I used his SS# to find his parents and they were Adam H Roller and Martha Crouch. He was born 6/18/1888 in Hettick, Macoupin County, Illinois. I also found my father's parents (Carrie E McCollum and Frederick Chandler)in the 1940 U.S. Federal Census with Martha Roller (age 80) listed as my grandmother's mother. I do not know why she changed her name from Roller before she married my grandfather, but George Roller named her as his sister in is will. She was listed as Dorothy C. Chandler (another mystery). He also named John Roller and Lona Roller Boring as his brother and sister. My father's sister was named Carlona after my father's Aunt Lona and Uncle Carl Boring. Can the rest of Adam and Martha's children be added to this site? Do you have any pictures? My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org. My maiden name is Chandler.
