I am a 69 year old retired civil service worker that is enjoying retirement. My wife and I spent most of our time working on our family trees and playing with our Grandchildren.|
I live in Anniston Alabama and roamed all of North East Alabama and North West Georgia looking through cemeteries for family graves. We really liked the adventure of finding family graves and history. We also loved to share our information.
I lost my wife in Feb 2013 to lung cancer and have not been very active on FAG since. She was my driving force and it just is not as much fun without her. Any of our memorials that are not family I will be glad to transfer to a family member of that person. God Bless all of you that made it so much fun for us. Richard Ferguson

|Brenda A||Blake Cemetery, Cleburne County, AL|
I live in Illinois and have been told that my relatives cemetery, Blake, is not near Ranburne but instead is much closer to Micaville, Alabama, about 20 miles away. I have no way of researching this and can't find Blake Cemetery on a Google map. Do you know where I can find it please? Thx!

I was pleased to find her gravestone. The cemetery is very well kept and well documented.

I saw where you had asked for directions to Patterson Cemetery in Jacksonville. Not sure if you still need them, but wanted to share.
From Anniston where 431 and 21 merge, drive North on AL-21 approximately 10 miles. Once you pass Jacksonville State University, turn left onto Hwy 204. Drive approximately 0.8 miles. Turn right onto Nisbet Lake Road (next to StarMart). Drive approximately 8.5 miles until the road dead ends. Turn right onto New Liberty Road. Drive approximately 2 miles and Patterson Cemetery will be on your right.

Thank you for transferring Loyal Quanita Pete & Russell Dunklee Greenleaf Sr. to me.
I will start working on their bios.
I was so happy to hear you knew the family.

You are very welcome... Glad to help! I have more of the headstones of those buried in the Matlock plot that I will add in a day or two.

|L'eau Noire||William and Nosephine|
I found them.
They were moved to Liberty Grove.
I actually took a picture of them there in August.
|L'eau Noire||Moved graves|
At a minimum, the graves of William and Josephine were removed as well as the headstone.
I will add a current photo of their plot to William's record in just a few minutes.
If you find out where they were moved to, let me know.
