Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a 62 year old retired civil service worker that is enjoying retirement. My wife and I spend most of our time working on our family trees and playing with our Grandchildren.
We live in Anniston Alabama and roam all of North East Alabama and North West Georgia looking through cemeteries for family graves. We really like the adventure of finding family graves and history. We also love to share our information.
We have pictures of almost every grave that we have listed on FAG. Most are not posted due to the hassel of down sizing the photo for find a grave requirements. If you see a grave listed by either of us ad want a photo we will be glad to send you one.

I don't believe I'm related to anyone in the cemetery. But thanks for the offer to transfer.

RE: Ranburne First Baptist Church
Hi, Richard,
Is there a chance the the churches moved? I looked at the original I have of the church sign as well as some of the memorials. They were taken just four minutes apart.
The photos of the sign and the church building were taken in the same minute. However, when I look online at Google's Street Scene maps, The Ranburne Baptist Church is not the same one in the photo and the sign is the same. It is in a church that doesn't have a cemetery.
Also, the Union Hill church building doesn't match the church in the photos I took.
Thanks again for your help.

read the message from Sarah Johnson just below your last message to me. If you know for sure she is wrong you need to tell her and let admin know NOT TO MERGE the cemeteries.

Ranburne cemetery
I received an email from another contributor that has informed me that Ranburne Baptist Church Cemetery IS Lost Creek Cemetery the name has been change. She says she has notified Admin that the two cemeteries need to be merged. Strange that marker photos do not match the overview shot of the cemetery. Maybe it is snow instead of sand. I can't tell. We will have to wait and see what admin does about it. I appreciate your help. Yes the Nolen's are in my family tree but not within the guidelines for transfer.
Thanks anyway

RE: Ranburne First Baptist Church
Do you know what cemetery it is? I took the photos 8 years ago. The cemetery was next to the church. I don't live in the area, so I can't go by to check.

Thank you for your help.
