Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a 62 year old retired civil service worker that is enjoying retirement. My wife and I spend most of our time working on our family trees and playing with our Grandchildren.
We live in Anniston Alabama and roam all of North East Alabama and North West Georgia looking through cemeteries for family graves. We really like the adventure of finding family graves and history. We also love to share our information.
We have pictures of almost every grave that we have listed on FAG. Most are not posted due to the hassel of down sizing the photo for find a grave requirements. If you see a grave listed by either of us ad want a photo we will be glad to send you one.

RE: Robert and Frances Stroope
I have also "lightly" penciled in other children for James and Elizabeth (Ferguson) Kea...

Ferguson 1801
James 1804 - - took the spelling KEY
John G 1808 - - took the spelling KEE
Andrew - 1809
Joab Kea - 1810 (this is my line)
Eliza Kea - 1816

I'm thinking there are probably more children - that just have not surfaced yet... expecially - between Joab and Eliza..

Robert and Frances Stroope
That's so cool...

The STROOPE spelling is frequently misspelled - - we prefer to think it's the correct spelling, Ha!

Do you know the ages - her maiden name - etc for this couple...

I have not come across a STROOPE that did not fit right into this family...

hope you can provide some info...

...

re- James Kea parents - - I have seen Charles Kea - - have not been able to get a source for anyone.. maybe that's correct - - but I like a little more proof..

George Washington Robershaw
Hey Richard! I noticed we both have a memorial for George Washington Robershaw, my great great grandfather. Is there a way to merge the duplicate memorials?

RE: Buren Ferguson marker
You are very welcome. The marker is heavily spotted with lichen of some sort, but I hope I got a clear enough picture for you.

I forgot to tell you how I came to request the name correction. I now belong to DAR and had gone to our monthly luncheon yesterday. I was talking about Find A Grave during lunch. One of the members said she needed her mother's name corrected on F.A.G. and I told her that I could help her. It turns out that the DAR member grew up in Calhoun and Cleburne Counties. It is a small world!
