Daughter of Arthur L. Blakeslee (1917-1993) and Dorothy M. Sturdivant (1918-2010). I am a descendant of Capt. David Blakeslee and his son Reuben. I am also looking for any information on my paternal Grandmothers family; Merilla Hatch from Crawford Co., PA. Also my Maternal Grandfathers family; Charles Bonner Davis of Greene Twp, Erie Co., PA. I was born and raised in Erie, PA. Many of my siblings have moved to the gulf coast of Florida.|
I enjoy genealogy and photography. i Collect Dolls, doll related items and postcards of Dolls or Historical Sites. Will add photos of memorials in the Erie area if requested and time permits. I work full time as an Accounting Manager and take care of a few Senior Citizens.
If I have listed a memorial of your loved one and it includes an error or incomplete information (i.e. date or place of birth, death, spelling), feel free to let me know and I will make the correction

Saw your comment on Margaret Simon in this cemetery. I added a picture of the cemetery today. It is on the west side of Hannon Road about .4 mile south of US Route 20. Note, the cemetery is fenced in.

Thanks for making those family links for Elihu. I will let you know if I find family links for his wife, Pearl Lynch Turner.

As per your request the duplicate memorial has been deleted. Sorry for the delay, problems with my PC now corrected.
|Jennifer H||Send corrections to me|
Please send corrections or additional information to me and I will gladly update them.
I have transferred quite a few memorials over the past few months to you for the sole purpose of updating them. At least that is what the request being sent is suggesting. While I don't mind giving memorials to people, giving several at a time, a few times a month is something I will no longer do.
I appreciate that you are working with the cemetery to update the memorials. I will gladly update any memorial that you send information about and will credit you with providing the information.
You're only the second time I've transferred a close relative to someone else. Please take care of Uncle Lawrence. His wife, Aunt Agnes, is one of the people that got me started into genealogy. She was our family historian before she passed. Unfortunately, I never got any good pictures of him and he passed away before I got a good camera. Are you related to the family?

Thank you so much for these photos! I really appreciate your comments on them as well, thank you for taking the time to include these notes.
I made some of the corrections that you requested on Sept 10. I did not make all that you had requested as I do not believe some were repeats. There were some that you stated were repeats, however, the stones were different. (They appeared different, not just aged.) For those ones, I did not delete. There are times where there are multiple people with the same names in the same cemetery.
The other duplicates that were made were unintentional. I have no relatives in Wales in which I would feel like I have to "own" them. Most likely I entered a few without checking to see if they were already listed. I do that every now and then without meaning to :) I also sometimes press the enter button a second time without meaning to which makes duplicates of a same person. I try to catch them, but some do escape me :)
There is one that you state was not buried there. There was a stone and I recorded it. Just because there is not a record of them being buried there does not mean that they weren't. There is a large cemetery in Erie that I have stones for that they do not have a record of. Maybe the record was lost or destroyed or not recorded correctly. Anyway, I am not removing that memorial either because there was a stone. If you find they were buried in a different cemetery and can prove it is them, I will be more than happy to remove the memorial. Until then I will not.
I have no issue giving memorials to others as long as I'm not related.
