I live in Erie County, PA and have been doing extensive genealogy research in Erie County since 1964. I have researched extensively Wales Cemetery, Greene Township, Erie Co., PA and I am currently working with the "Wales Cemetery Association" in documenting the burials in this Cemetery.
I too am a direct descendant of Reuben and David Blakeslee. My line traces down through William to Eva Blakeslee who married Alexander Bennett.
I am trying to find any information on early burials in Rose Hill. My Bennett line has many burials in Rose Hill, but the one I need specifically is Wolcott Bennett. He is buried next to his son, Nelson. Wolcott and his wife, Sarah, are there, but the tombstone contains no birth or death information. Wolcott died some time between 1860 and 1870. Sarah between 1850 and 1860.
Treva Blakeslee Hello Carole I posted a photo postcard death notice on this young man. I came across it among my great aunt's and my grandmothers photos, I'm thinking he or his family may have been friends......I sent a correction request as he was listed as "daughter"
