Guelda Mae Gibson nee Estes
I must apologize... I have just noticed a duplicate memorial #11221087 for Guelda.... I have been submitting edits to that Guelda Memorial, when I didn't need to.

I don't know how duplicates are removed, but wanted to let you know that I do apologize for any attempts to edit. I have sponsored your Guelda page because Hanly Joseph Gibson is a great uncle to Gayla Faith McKelvy nee Shipley.

Thank you for your hard work...

Nancy Jane Watson ? Annie Jane
Hi Jim, I am sorry but I declined your request to unlink Nancy from Oliver Otho Washington Watson (1841 - 1904)and Mary Josephine Williamson Watson (1849 - 1937). I did so because I would like supporting evidence when I accept any edit. Just accepting can be kind of wrong if information is not accurate and leads to bad information out there.

Saying that I went back and did some research on my own and found three census reports for Nancy and she was living with her two sons and a brother named James W Herrington which then got me thinking her maiden name was Herrington not Watson. I have un linked her from the above parents.

Thanks kindly for reaching out and know I was not declining your edit for no reason. When even I submit an edit I send a suggestion with my sources or explanation. Thanks kindly and have a wonderful day.

Uncle Jess Estes
Jim: I have always said that I learn something new everyday. While updating my Burdick tree today, I found out that Uncle Jess had a first wife and a daughter. My mother and her cousin spent countless hours doing this tree and there was nothing about a first wife. I remember being at Aunt Mabel's house. I remember stories about the twins and how Joan was an Estes but adopted. My mother put in everything, so am surprised about this new information.

Can I ask you where you got these photos? Robert Harmon was my grandfathers (John Calvin Harmon) father. Thanks!

William Martin Lynn - Mem #58994387
Hi Jim. I'm trying to sort out some things about this family. Is there baptismal record or will that proves William's father was John Anderson Lynn? I'm looking at an image of the original 1870 census, which lists 18-year-old "Wm. Martin Lynn" along with 21-year-old Calvin Lynn and others in the family of 70-year-old Adam Lynn. Also, Adam's wife was Elizabeth (Martin) Lynn. Thanks very much.
