Boy, it is hard to talk about myself but here goes.
I am 54 yrs old and live in Central Kansas.
I have been actively researching since 2005 but have always been interested in my family history. My parents are very good at remembering & telling family stories. I obviously wish I had started when I was younger. My husband, our adult son & his wife & our adult daughter have always been supportive of my "talking to dead people".

Yes, you may use the photo I added to Thomas' memorial. Thanks for asking and adding credit to me as the source. Best of luck in your research!

You may certainly use any photos I have submitted to Find A Grave for your family genealogy and crediting me for the photo would be very considerate....thank you.

Thank you for the edits. My sister and I are working on photographing the entire cemetery. And we have added memorials from the Belleville and Republic Co records, so any information you can dig up would be wonderful.

Yes, you can copy the headstone photo. Sorry for the wet condition, it was photographed on a rainy day.

If you can call Resurrection Cemetery 323 887 2024 to get a location for the grave, I will be happy to take a photo next weekend.

The full view shot of the stone is Mahala's side. There had been a tree spruce cut away. Possibly by a family member? I doubt it was grounds keeping because there are other stones near by that were not so lucky. The small white limestone said "mother". Sr's grave is to the left of Josiah's side and the "father" stone. I didn't take a full view of Josiah's side because of extensive bio growth. The front and back were plain. No decorative carvings and such.
