I have been doing research on my family heritage since 1999. I am from Alabama and have lived in Georgia. I am a retire military member who now lives in North Carolina. My family consist of Parker, Crumbley, Castleberry, Daniel, East, Culpepper, Loggins, Pope, Williams, Buchanan, Bullard, Rowl, Carroll and any other families that are connected to the family I listed.|

For your photo request at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, please call the cemetery at 864-223-9229 and ask for the grave location. I've found that it works best if you make the call since they may need more information about the person. I have cemetery maps, so if you send me the location in a message on findagrave, I will go out there and take the photo.

I fulfilled the request but we had gotten a lot of rain and the marker was terribly muddy. I have kept this on my list and hope to get a better shot when it is dryer and I can sweet away the dried dirt.

If you will look at all 16 people listed in the Parker Family Cemetery, you will see that they are also listed in the Steed Cemetery which has 48 memorials in that cemetery. Most all the memorials in the Steed Cemetery have photos of the memorials. The Cleburne County Cemetery survey does not even list a Parker Family cemetery. It appears someone has created as separate cemetery in error. Here is a listing of the survey according to the USGENWEB PROJECT:
Steed Cemetery is located in Cleburne Co., AL. It is southeast of Piedmont,
Calhoun Co. on County Road 55. This census was done in the spring of 2000

I noticed that you have requested a photo for Martha at Parker Family Cemetery. Have you noticed the memorial for Martha M. Stephens # 33041151 at the Steed Cemetery in Cleburne County, AL. Do you thinks these two cemeteries are one in the same??? The memorials in the Parker Cemetery are also listed in the Steed cemetery. Notice the death date on Martha's two memorials. There is a marker for Martha & John Tillman Stephens at the Steed Cemetery.
|Rita Goss||Danny Cardwell Photo Request|
I checked with the Clerk (City of Leeds) who manages the records for Cedar Grove Cemetery. She did not find any record of a burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery for Danny Cardwell. I also walked thru the cemetery and did not locate the grave. If you can learn where this grave is located please let me know and I'll be glad to take this photo.

Hi....the grave of this child has no visible marker. He is buried in Fowler #680/680 1/2 Sp. 16. This is a large children's plot. He is buried next to the Arnold girl in the picture. Sorry.
|Ken B||Collins at Holy Rood|
I was at Holy Rood today to fulfill your photo request. Unfortunately, there is no marker at the grave site of Paula Collins (Section 22, Row H, Plot 33), but I added the photos and marked the location in the photos for you. If you don't want the photos on the memorial, let me know and I'll remove them.

|Georgie Necaise Morton||RE: Regarding Roy Fitts|
I did find an email where I sent the photos to you in October 2014. I have located his sons and I'm going to ask a mutual friend to mention it to them, just in case it is something that fell through the cracks and someone didn't do what they were supposed to do. If it was their decision to not place an identifying bronze plate on his headstone, then it is their business and I'll back away. I will be taking other photos there and I'll check it from time to time. The cemetery office assured me that Roy Fitts is buried there beside his wife, but a bronze with his name was never placed.
