Bio and Links
I have been doing research on my family heritage since 1999. I am from Alabama and have lived in Georgia. I am a retire military member who now lives in North Carolina. My family consist of Parker, Crumbley, Castleberry, Daniel, East, Culpepper, Loggins, Pope, Williams, Buchanan, Bullard, Rowl, Carroll and any other families that are connected to the family I listed.

This is not part of my profile but wanted to let folks know that I am trying to recover to where you can leave a public statement. I have sent an email to Find A Grave to see if they can fix the problem. But until then, please use my email address until the problem is fixed.

Danny Cardwell Photo Request
I checked with the Clerk (City of Leeds) who manages the records for Cedar Grove Cemetery. She did not find any record of a burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery for Danny Cardwell. I also walked thru the cemetery and did not locate the grave. If you can learn where this grave is located please let me know and I'll be glad to take this photo.

Hi....the grave of this child has no visible marker. He is buried in Fowler #680/680 1/2 Sp. 16. This is a large children's plot. He is buried next to the Arnold girl in the picture. Sorry.

Collins at Holy Rood
I was at Holy Rood today to fulfill your photo request. Unfortunately, there is no marker at the grave site of Paula Collins (Section 22, Row H, Plot 33), but I added the photos and marked the location in the photos for you. If you don't want the photos on the memorial, let me know and I'll remove them.

RE: Regarding Roy Fitts
I did find an email where I sent the photos to you in October 2014. I have located his sons and I'm going to ask a mutual friend to mention it to them, just in case it is something that fell through the cracks and someone didn't do what they were supposed to do. If it was their decision to not place an identifying bronze plate on his headstone, then it is their business and I'll back away. I will be taking other photos there and I'll check it from time to time. The cemetery office assured me that Roy Fitts is buried there beside his wife, but a bronze with his name was never placed.

RE: Regarding Roy Fitts
David, did I answer you before? I don't remember reading this. The cemetery checked the file and said that a stone has never been placed for Roy Fitts. It was not destroyed by Hurricane Katrina, as someone suggested. I can send you the photos that I took if I haven't already done so, however I do not see your email address.

Julia L. East - Westview Cemetery

Through the edit tab on the Julia East memorial page I sent links to her husband and father. Julia's maiden name was Perdue (not Lee) and her middle name was Love. If you have any questions regarding this please feel free to contact me

RE: Dyers in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta
Thanks so much. I have uploaded the last two.

As an explanation, Julia and Ora are in between James Sr and Pauline on the one side and James Jr and Dura on the other. So I assumed they were related. Was that the case?

I am sorry the photo for James Sr. and Pauline is not great. Their marker is being taken over by a fire ant mound. Not uncommon out there.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for working with me.

Dyers in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta
Hi David. Thanks for making the pages and sending the requests. I think you made two pages for Pauline.

Still need a request for Dura and a page and request for Julia East.

Dyers in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta

I found James Dyer, Jr. With him in the same or neighboring lot were:

Dura Aldridge Dyer 7/31/1930 - 6/8/2002
Julia L. East 10/6/1881 - 11/10/1961
Ora Mae Brannon 7/21/1897 - 2/6/1952
James W. Dyer, Sr. 1897 - 1987
Pauline E. Dyer 1907 - 1983

Dura has a page already the others do not. Would you please send a photo request for Dura and make pages and send requests for the others? I have photos I would like to upload. Thanks.
