Charles Lester Webster Hello, Ramona. I am pretty new to this site, so I'm not completely sure how this works. It looks like you maintain the information for my great grandfather, Charles Lester Webster. You have listed, as his children, Francis Lyle and a daughter, who is Francis' half sibling. My grandfather, Howard Lester Webster is Francis Lyle's full sibling. I believe there are other half siblings, but, I don't recall the names off the top of my head. If I hear back from you, and you are the correct person to update this info, I will get you the other names. Thanks in advance. Kathleen Tia
My Grandfather: Harry F Draper is brother to Clifford Draper, and Robert Draper. The link to his find a grave is: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=draper&GSfn=harry+&GSmn=f&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSob=n&GRid=77364749&df=all&
Lucretia.Shepard Hi Ramona: Thank-You so much for the information on the parents of Lucretia.Shepard...I linked her to them. I am not related to the Shepard family. My husband & I was out looking for old mine sites here in Western South Dakota & we happened upon a old mine site called the Spokane.I stumbled over "something" & when I turned around to see what it was that I tripped over,I discovered the memorial stone for James.Shepard (#95184692)which was placed by his Grandchildren in his memory & if you check out his memorial, you will see that it says "Murdered over a mining claim" & I also have the information added about his story & the outcome. Tripping over someone's memorial stone in the middle of no where is kinda hair raising if the truth be known :-) James is the son of Lucretia in case you didn't know but I'm sure you do as you contacted me in regards to her.
Jay.Shepard (#71630238)is the son of James & I have done research on him as well, hence the pictures & story. He was one of 400+ people who worked on Mount Rushmore & I believe he is pictured in a huge picture that is @ the monument in Keystone. We have met a few people here whose family members were part of the crew who worked on Mount Rushmore.
I am still researching this family & their spouses & children & will add additional information as I find it.If by chance you have any information that you'd be willing to share w/me in regards to this family,I'd be more then happy to add it to their memorials.
The historical society is interested in having the memorial of James transferred to them as he was a part of South Dakota's history as was his son Jay....
Again...Thank-You for the additional information & as I said...it has been added :-)
Geo. Wesp d. 1863 Hi. Attached is a "report a problem" that we submitted to your photo request for Geo. Wesp d. 1863 in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Rochester, NY:
According to Mt. Hope Internment Records (https://www.lib.rochester.edu/IN/RBSCP/Databases/IMAGES/MtHope/disc1/00000744.pdf), Geo. Wesp, aged 5 months and 16 days was buried in "Pub." Unfortunately, no further plot information is given, and a survey of the surviving markers in the Public Grounds of the Cemetery done in the mid-1980s (http://mcnygenealogy.com/cem/mthope-sec-pg.htm) does not include his marker.
Re: Iversons & Gandels Memorials are now made and photo's uploaded for Martin & Bertha Gandel. Isabelle & Stanley Iverson are directly across from them in Block 10, Lot 35. (Kind of like living across the street) Lily & Conrad are in Lot 52, but there is a stake that indicates the dividing line on lots and it appears that the Gandels' might be in 53. The long range photo shows Conrad, Lily, Martin & Bertha. (What you can't see is to the left; Isabelle & Stanley) You'll have to contact Sunset if you want clarity on that one.
