Bio

I have been doing genealogy for about seventeen years, my aunt Helen Wiese, had collected most of the Wiese and Rudiger family for about three generations before she passed away. She left me with some wonderful family photos, which really started my interest in genealogy. I have collected grave markers for most of the family in Utah. This is a great site to start a search for other family members living in other parts of the US.

Most of the Wiese family first settled in Wisconsin, so there are many relatives there, the Basch, Tesch, Fischer, Sellin, Chich, and Wohlt families.

Some of the family names that are related to me are located in Virginia, the Hurt family, Via, Parr, Wells, Herndon, and Barksdale.

I had some scouts in my church Kyer and Riley Folsom that did an Eagle Scout project collecting all the grave markers for a small cemetery in northern Utah, Centerville City Cemetery. The boys cataloged about 2500 grave marker and photos for this cemetery. I'm helping them get it posted on line.

The Wiese Family tree on Ancestry.com has about 65,000 names of in-laws and direct family descendents.
