I have been researching my various families' histories for 56 years, as of 1 July 2021. My principal focus is on the descendants of Henry Harrison HINES (b 1817 NY - d 1901 Ontario). He was twice married - first in Jefferson Co, NY and next in Wentworth Co, Ontario. He had 6 sons in each marriage plus 2 daughters in his 2nd. Many of his sons and grandsons were also married twice and sometimes 3 times - each with many offspring. 5 sons from his first marriage served in the Union Army during the Civil War. All survived.
