I live in Butte, MT where the history is as rich as the copper, gold, silver and zinc that was mined from these mountains. The ethnic heritage brought by the miners and their families has created a genealogical treasure equal to the "Richest Hill on Earth".|
If I have added one of your family members, please feel free to request a transfer of management. All photos posted are for the requesting person's genealogical use public or private. No credit is required.

Is it possible one of you have the cemetery wrong?

Thanks for the transfer! I also enjoy the mining symbol on his grave marker. Great stuff.

Edward Joseph Hagel is not in my direct bloodline, but he was the son of my gg grandfather's brother. Yes, if you wouldn't mind transferring him with this understanding, that would be great. Thank you so much.

I have as you suggested added a memorial for Hugh Cunningham and would be very grateful if you could find the grave and take a photo.
Can you possibly help me in finding the graves of my 3 brother cousins in the same cemetery? Another cousin, California based, visited Holy Cross a couple of years back. She said she searched all day for the graves of her grandfather Philip Harkins d 1946 and his brothers Martin and James d 1916. She told me that by accident, "I turned around and there was the grave of the 3 brothers side by side". Unfortunately she did not take a photograph or record the plot numbers. I added memorials for all 3 to Holy Cross but have no plot location. Any help you could give would be extremely valuable to me.
Again my profound thanks,

Patricia Thank you for the burial info on Nellie she should be next to John. She is my Great Aunt! Thanks for the info Tom C.

I just did a general internet search for free pics of headstones. I downloaded it than added details to the pic on picasa. It would be more fun for you if you customized your own. Much more rewarding. :) Have fun. Thanks again for the great pics you take. Being able to read the headstone clearly and capture the colors of them is rare.

If the grave is unmarked than yes you are more than welcome to post a plot photo on any of my memorials. Thanks.

you are very welcome and yes, it is a very peaceful place with several trees. Especially beautiful with the flags and other decorations for Memorial Day weekend.
