RE: Amanda Jane Price

Did you get the PDF file that I emailed you?

Amanda and James Price children
I have found a few of the children on the find a grave website and have asked those who manage those postings to tie them to Amanda and James Price.

Thank you so much for your information and interaction today.

I have a 7 page document that lists all of the children and their spouse and their children. If you would like for me to send a PDF of this to you, please let me know.

RE: Mary J./Matilda France Peters
Sorry it has taken me so long to answer. I added to Find A Grave tonight. You can use my pictures I don't care. I know about where these cemeteries are, but getting to them may be a problem. The France is close to the John L. Hammonds cemetery that me and my husband visited a while back. It was on private land and we just happened to run into a cousin that new exactly where it was (: We would like to clean it off but I do not know who owns the land. There is a law in Virginia as far as I know that land owners have to provide access to cemeteries, but I still don't want to do it without them knowing. The France cemetery is on the next ridge over, I am 98% sure. We will try and find it this spring, before the weeds really start blooming.

RE: Vineyard Family
Hi Doni - yes, I am descended from George Vineyard (1795-1852) and wife Mary Campbell, through their daughters Nancy who married William Bell and Mary who married John Bell.

Thanks for your kind words about the memorials I've created for the early Vineyard family.

RE: Matilda France Peter
I found her in the Scott County Death Records
Mary J. Peters Died: Aug 13, 1855 cause unknown, age 35. Parents listed as Andrew and Elizabeth France. Spouse Franciso Reported by husband. Will have to see where they got Matilda from, and DOB. According to this death record, her DOB should be ca 1820. But this is a transcribed record and her age at death could be wrong.

It is information I received from a relative in a FTM file. I will look where they got this information from. It will be a couple of days because it is on my laptop. I may be able to look it up myself at the library today.

Redding/Redman and Margaret Singleton

I went out to Sardis Cemetery today and saw the grave for Redding/Redman and Margaret. I believe she is listed incorrectly on Find a Grave. I believe she is listed as S Margaret # 52893509. The marker has a comma between S and Margaret. Each of these family members are listed on the stone from left to right as they are buried and foot stones indict them to be in the same order in front of the larger monument listing Bessie, Frank, Redman, Jenny, S, and Margaret.

S and Margaret are likely two different Singleton's and should be two different virtual memorials.

I saw a note on some board where you were asking about a photo for Margaret. Just wanted to let you know what I saw today when I stopped by.
