I am a descendant of Sgt. John F. Hand and Jane Angel "Jenny" Robinson Hand. My mother, V. Doris Hand Ballard, was the last of the Hands born at Callensville near Morgan, Pendleton County, Kentucky. I have been doing family history work for 30+ years and am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My research includes many Northern Kentucky families which include Hand, Douglas, Ballard, Martin, Smith (Grant and Owen Counties), Jones (Mason County), Kendall (Harrison County), Makemson, Watson, Davis, Jefferson, Wells, McMillian, Robinson, Hanson, and more.
