I am the grandniece of Austin Wheeler Smith, who wrote the Smith-Jarratt, Dickson-McEwen, George-Lacy, and Mitchell-McGlocklin genealogies in the 1940s. Many of my memorials relate to those families (and families allied with them). My grandmother was born in an antebellum home in Collirene, Alabama, so I also research the Dudley-Pierce-Faust-Gordon and allied families from that area.
