Bio

I became interested in genealogy when I retired from teaching nursing. So many people helped me along the way in my search for elusive ancestors that I decided to give a little back through Find A Grave. When I am not poking through a cemetery or dusty court house, I enjoy sports (baseball, football and basketball) as an observer, reading (mystery and history), puzzles (especially Sudoku), playing games with my grandchildren, and needlework (all kinds). Some day, when I get to heaven and finally find my ancestors, I plan to ask them why they did not leave a better paper trail. And, if I find a way to add to my genealogy from the other side, I'll definitely do it!

If you are related to a person whose site I manage, and I am not related, I will be happy to transfer management to you. Please follow the FAG rules for transfer.

Please do not request that I add or change information found on a site I manage unless you can provide documentation to support the request. As a genealogist I recognize there is a lot of genealogical miss-information on the internet and I choose not to be guilty of spreading incorrect information. Just stating that you "know" the information is correct is not adequate.
