RE: ? SHERMAN
Hi, ok the photo is now upright. Not sure how it went on sideways but was able to fix it.

As far as cleaning it, when we go out 'hunting' for requests we generally don't take any cleaning supplies with us as we usually don't look for the older stones to much since majority of them are in very bad shape. This one just happen to catch our eye as we were walking in the section.

RE: Sarah Beals
Thanks for posting the photo! I really appreciate it! It looks like a huge stone. I don't know the whole story. Perhaps, after Sarah died, he went back to Arkansas to live with one of their children. It's too bad it can't be placed beside her husband's grave marker with a note saying where she is buried. That's what I would do with it, if possible.

Thanks again,
~Beckie~

RE: SARAH E. ADAMSON BEALS
Thanks for the info. That is hard to believe! How could they do that? I live in Kansas, so am not close enough to claim it. I would love to see a picture of it, if you could get one. Send it to Beckie.williams@hotmail.com and I will look at my ancestry tree and see if I can find a relative out there.

So very sad:(

RE: Charles Marquis
Could he have possibly married 2 different Minnies? I am not related, but I want my info to be acurate. I have her death certificate and 3 children's death certificate that stated maiden name as wilkins. I was also researching the parents you have listed and they had a daughter Annie born Jan of 1884, just a month before this Minnie. I love the tangled web ancestors weave even if they arent mine.

RE: CATHARINE DEVAR
Catherine (Devar) Higley's grave was never found, this also is a mystery. Edwin was married to Mary Jane (Sherman) on September 14, 1869, in Morrow County, Ohio. I would like to see this 1860 census. Catherine (Devar) Higley 1832-1867, her exact birth and death dates are also unknown.
