|Leroy Higley||RE: CATHARINE DEVAR|
Catherine (Devar) Higley's grave was never found, this also is a mystery. Edwin was married to Mary Jane (Sherman) on September 14, 1869, in Morrow County, Ohio. I would like to see this 1860 census. Catherine (Devar) Higley 1832-1867, her exact birth and death dates are also unknown.

Nice to meet a relative. Yes, I'm aware of the headstone. I'm the one who lives about an hour from Matthew and Sarah's burial site and took the pictures of Rachel's headstone and the Maddox plot. I'm one of the descendants involved in the discussion as well. The Maddox's are my immediate family (my mother is a Maddox). Matthew and Sarah are my grandparents so I'm afraid I cannot transfer any of my Maddox memorials as I've done quite a bit of genealogical research on the Maddox family over the years.
Yes, I do believe I know exactly where they are both buried in the plot. There are 2 "empty" sites north of the Cline headstone (Mary Cline...Matthew Maddox's sister). YOu can see the plot sites in the picture I uploaded on Mattehw and Sarah's memorial page. The small standing stone is the Cline's. The broken stone is daughter Rachel Maddox' stone. My mother and I are the ones who found Rachel's broken stone buried under the ground and dug it out a couple years ago. I've heard it has since been repaired.
I absolutely believe Matthew and Sarah are buried in those two empty plots at the end of the Maddox section. Those are the only empty sites in that plot and would have been the ones open when Matthew and Sarah died. If you click on the photo on their memorial page you can read a descriptive caption I added about my thoughts on their burial.
Nice to meet you. Are you one of the Maddox contacts on Lori Linnell's family group as well?

No problem, Ann! Have a good day!

I show my entry for JOSEPH HUTTON, JR (married to Betty Willis) on my Find A Grave page that I have entered him as being born on May 28, 1720 and died in 1771.

Cemetery records show that she is indeed at Calvary buried in the same section as husband John B Reidy. I created a memorial for her and packed it with info. Also I put in a photo request for the gravestone. I will gladly transfer to you if you would like and/or look up any other records you need.

hmmmm, I will have to see where I put that at. I moved since I sent that to you. I don't have all of my gen stuff unpacked yet.
I will look for it.
