Genevieve Marie Painter Showalter Carpenter
Genevieve was adopted by Clyde and Eva Showalter of Mt. Pleasant, MI, after her bio-mom died. She was Agnes Donaldson and her husband was Way Painter. I have been searching for information on Genevieve's whereabouts and I am unable to find anything. She is listed in the 1930 US Census with Clyde and Eva.

Mabel Quick
Thank you for the photo of Mabel Peacock Quick's gravestone. Though she is only a distant relative, finding more about her enhances our family history. Thank you for your time and effort.

Lambert & Minnie Lambers and John Timmer
Thank you so much for filling my photo requests for these three in Maple Grove Cemetery. I plan to meet with a daughter of the Lambers tomorrow so am thrilled you were able to put photos with their memorials before we work on the family tomorrow.

RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 57068917
good morning - I will research this a little further, I am related to the family. It appears that we might have two people who have the exact name but aren't related. However, the Edwin with the family listed on this memorial is not the Edwin who fought for the 42nd Ohio. Phillip Edwin Gould born in Vermont, fought for the 8th Vermont. He died in Muskegon and is buried in Empire, Michigan. I am thinking some of the information here is correct and some is not. The wife of the Edwin in the photograph is Amelia. The mother of some of the children is Mary. I'll figured it out. Thanks

hello - the photographs placed on this memorial are not the same Edwin Gould. The memorials Edwin Gould fought the Civil War with the 8th Vermont Co A.Or we have an even bigger problem because someone has assigned the wrong family members to the wrong Edwin Gould.
