Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been doing family research since 1981, and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. There's always a hidden treasure waiting somewhere.

I've tried to be as accurate as possible with any information that I present. I make every effort to document all of my information with reliable sources, however, errors are imminent even with the best of sources and efforts. If you should find any errors in any postings I've made, please contact me immediately and I'll do additional research to either justify my information or correct the information I've presented.

This is my small way of showing my respect and honoring those who have passed on.

My great grandparents John and Josephine (Hatke) Deiterman donated the land for ST. MARTIN'S CEMETERY AT TOURS, TEXAS.

Please use the EDIT tab and "Suggest a Correction" application to request changes. Please do not add DEATH CERTIFICATES or NEWSPAPER CLIPPINGS OF OBITUARIES to my memorials. If you wish to add an obituary, please transcribe it and send it to me through "Suggest a Correction". Be sure to name the Newspaper and date of publication.
Thanks for your cooperation.

RE: Talley Cemetery
This is our family cemetery. I have three generations of Grandparents buried there and am related to everyone buried there either by blood or marriage.

I saw your memorial for Ben M. Carr. My great grandmother was Lillie Carr who married Harve McCurry in Potts Station, Ark. Lillie's death certificate said her father was Frank Carr and mothers last name was McMurry. We think her first name may have been Martha. Is it possible that the Ben McMurry Carr is Lillie Carr McCurry's brother? Lillie named her two sons Franklin D. and Benjamin Floyd. Any information oyu have that these two families are were related would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Did you notice there are two tombstones for him? Do you think they moved him? Check out both memorials.

RE: Charles Houston McElhaney
I wonder if Mary McElhaney's parents are buried at Greenwood too.
