I've been doing family research since 1981, and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. There's always a hidden treasure waiting somewhere.|
I've tried to be as accurate as possible with any information that I present. I make every effort to document all of my information with reliable sources, however, errors are imminent even with the best of sources and efforts. If you should find any errors in any postings I've made, please contact me immediately and I'll do additional research to either justify my information or correct the information I've presented.
This is my small way of showing my respect and honoring those who have passed on.
My great grandparents John and Josephine (Hatke) Deiterman donated the land for ST. MARTIN'S CEMETERY AT TOURS, TEXAS.

|Catherine Popineau Brown||Rudolph Slay|
Hello, # 65241640 Rudolph Slay. I am just thinking that this is the same person as #53253262 Rudolph Schley And the name was spelled wrong. I know Tours is were his sister Anna Johanna Slay was born in 1915. her records are there or St. Mary in West. Maybe you could check on Rudolph for us. I don't know if either had a headstone?
Thank you, Richard and Catherine Brown
|Catherine Popineau Brown||Mary Slay|
Hi Andrea, This is in regards to 65175066 Marie "Mary" Von Hase Slay. She was my grandfathers First wife. I Know Slevinski was change to Slay. But I was just wandering where the " VonHase" name came from. Could this be a maiden name. I can't seem to find any info on it. I know Mary and Frank Joseph Slevinski- Slay came to America with their Children from Germany. If you have info that you could help me with. I would appreciate. Thank You,
Regards, Catherine Popineau Brown #47185744

You are very Welcome. Just wish I knew how to clean Ida's stone up without doing damage to it.

Where did you find a record of her maiden name? That information was not on her headston. She was the second wife of my great grandfather. When I had the Kopecky family researched in Halekov, I found out her maiden name was Vyskala. She was born in Novy Hrozevkov. The family thought her maiden name was Malik.

You are very welcome. Luckily, it was very easy to find! We were there to put flowers on my great great grandparents grave. Deb
