Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

Matthew 11:28-30
28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Psalm 46:1
1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Nahum 1:7
7 The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him,

Psalms 91:1-4
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

Hebrews 9:28
So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:6-8

RE: flowers left regarding Sir Gerard de Usflete (the 1st.).
Hello again,
Has you know I have a William Beckwith's memorial listed with his coat-of-arms. Indeed, there is evidence Joan de Usflete had been married twice but "mainly" her first name is mentioned on the Stapleton pedigrees; in the Latin form Johanna, etc.

Kind regards,
Raymond.

RE: flowers left regarding Sir Gerard de Usflete (the 1st.).
Hello,
It is now thought (but I have not followed it up) that Joan de Usflete a daughter of the second Gerard de Usflete may have married into the Stapleton family after the demise of W.Beckwith; or before.
I have Joan (Usflete) Stapleton's memorial listed.

Kind regards,
Raymond.

flowers left regarding Sir Gerard de Usflete (the 1st.).
Thank you.
You have good kind thoughts and with them you do nice deeds from the mind and with these you speak from your heart. Behold; for this is a most wonderful thing to do and gives a beautiful feeling and the right path to priceless happiness. We look no further than our hearts for this, then we know we have paradise found, for the church (love) of the God is within us all to find.

RE: Carlyle Cross
This person is not a member and does not post on findagrave. She really wants to find a direct relative if she can. I will send her your message and see how it goes. I sure do appreciate you responding.

Sincerely,
Gayle Hamilton

Hi Diana,
Would you consider transferring the memorial for Sharon K. Fasick, #104646970, to me? She was a very dear friend of mine who died instantly in a car accident. She was not even from Georgia. Still miss her. She knew and loved the Lord, and she would have loved seeing all the verses you put here. ... Thank you for creating it.

Pam

RE: Audrey Syms
Thanks Diana, wish I knew where her father, Frank M. Syms was buried (b. 5/6/1900, d. 4/1962). He and Fannie divorced before 1930, but I suspect he is somewhere in Augusta area.
