|I started my research in 1995, looking for Lockhart and Sams (my father's parents). My mother was one of fourteen and my father was one of eleven. I have eighty-one cousins - YES COUSINS! A very large family!|
My husband started his research in 2009 when he became the oldest living relative at age 49. He thought he had a small family with one cousin. His great grandparents came from large families - most of which he never knew.
Since then, I am now researching the names of Edgar, Radcliff, Markley, Sheppard, Somerville, Steed and Cheuvront (also on Father's side); Stacey, Pillar [Pilyer], Como, Aston and Hopper (Mother's family). During 2009, my husband showed interest in his ancestry so we are now researching the names of Stockdale, Leon (Leone) and Ankrom (Tyler Co). Currently over 37,000 in our tree.
During our research, the enjoyment of finding documentation that you never thought you would find and sharing it, is so satisfying and pleasing. Some of the expressions from my parents are priceless.
Memories are so very important to me! Those we can keep close and forever, are wonderful.
The memorials I have added have been made for memories and to assist those who do genealogy. They are not intended to hurt or upset anyone. If one has been posted that you prefer does not appear, just kindly contact me and it will be removed immediately upon request. My family is updated as I find more information and some memorials are currently waiting for burial information.
If you have pictures or anything that you can add to any memorial, please feel free to do so. The more we can help each other, the more we help others!
I appreciate all those who help in my search as I know those that I help do appreciate it also. FAG has been a remarkable tool in my research with those contributors in various states posting memorials that I have found and needed! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

OK I checked and it appears that Myrtle is already linked to her parents so I just deleted that suggestion and accepted the birth information for Mr. Wellman. Susan
|David Gladwell||Jeffrey Sheppard|
I don't know much more about Jeffrey than is in the memorial. I tried to look up his OB via the funeral home web page, but didn't get any info at all, not even a recognition of his name. Sorry.

We were there last week to finish photographing the whole cemetery. All the markers we could find are now photographed and uploaded, except for about a dozen that I want to try again to get a better picture or make out the inscription. There was a bit of snow remaining on the ground that hadn't completely melted off. It was amazing and sad to see how many unmarked graves were revealed in that cemetery with the snow lingering in the low spots. There are dozens! Susan

It is # 25676250, you didn't find it probably because the name was spelled wrong. Your listing is better, but the other one is older :-(. I had to delete several at Rose Hill when I finally realized that the spelling varied widely at times.
|Karen Grimm||Oscar Gochenour|
Hi, I see you manage my Uncle Oscar's page. My grandmother was Josephine Stogdale. I would assume we are related?
|Barbara Nicholson||Wigal, Walter & Flora|
Sorry I don't have any idea why they both died the same day. I did notice it, but couldn't find anything on line about it.
|Terry Magyar||Violet Giffen|
Thank you for this transfer.
|Chris Painter||Mary Scarberry|
Mary is in the "Old Macksburg" Cemetery, which is also known as Lund Cemetery. The "Old" cemetery is right smack beside the "New" cemetery, which I have photographed in its entirety. This grave is in the "Old" section, or Lund cemetery because I do not have a photo of the grave. I created the other memorial but I cannot delete the memorial. It is maintained by someone else.

Your memorial for Precious was so cute, I just had to leave a flower/note. Thanks for the notes on my fur-family too. Pets (or maybe WE are THEIR pets!) are so hard to part with. Edie
