Bio and Links
I started my research in 1995, looking for Lockhart and Sams (my father's parents). My mother was one of fourteen and my father was one of eleven. I have eighty-one cousins - YES COUSINS! A very large family!

My husband started his research in 2009 when he became the oldest living relative at age 49. He thought he had a small family with one cousin. His great grandparents came from large families - most of which he never knew.

Since then, I am now researching the names of Edgar, Radcliff, Markley, Sheppard, Somerville, Steed and Cheuvront (also on Father's side); Stacey, Pillar [Pilyer], Como, Aston and Hopper (Mother's family). During 2009, my husband showed interest in his ancestry so we are now researching the names of Stockdale, Leon (Leone) and Ankrom (Tyler Co). Currently over 37,000 in our tree.

During our research, the enjoyment of finding documentation that you never thought you would find and sharing it, is so satisfying and pleasing. Some of the expressions from my parents are priceless.

Memories are so very important to me! Those we can keep close and forever, are wonderful.

The memorials I have added have been made for memories and to assist those who do genealogy. They are not intended to hurt or upset anyone. If one has been posted that you prefer does not appear, just kindly contact me and it will be removed immediately upon request. My family is updated as I find more information and some memorials are currently waiting for burial information.

If you have pictures or anything that you can add to any memorial, please feel free to do so. The more we can help each other, the more we help others!

I appreciate all those who help in my search as I know those that I help do appreciate it also. FAG has been a remarkable tool in my research with those contributors in various states posting memorials that I have found and needed! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Dorothy Pauline Walker Dotson
Hi Theresa,

All is well here. Hope you are too. Dorothy Pauline Walker is my Mom, and she is still very much alive and 'kicking' at now 99 years old. She will be 100 on 14th of January 2016. She had a double stone made when my Dad died in 2002 - her birth date is there and death date will be carved IF she ever dies. We used to say WHEN Mom dies, now we say IF - LOL. But she is amazing.

Message regarding Buddy
Are you asking me to edit one of his memorials? If so, could you please contact Findagrave directly. I merely created his memorial, but can not edit any of his memorials other than through the automatic edit system.

Wish I could be more helpful.

Thank you,

Fran

RE: Edna Henderson
The Edna Henderson who operated a ceramics shop.
The article showed pictures of dolls she made to represent governor's wives. Features like theirs and dresses go with the period or perhaps the wax figures in the capitol building. The place is right and the time is right but I do not have PROOF. If you transfer it to me I will research until I prove it one way or the other. If you want it back, remind me, as my short term memory got up and left. Hilda

Hynson C/Mary Ann Shaw Poynter
Hynson and Mary Ann Poynter are my third great-grandparents, as well. Their grandson (via Asbury Poynter), Raymond G. Poynter was my maternal great-grandfather. Raymond's daughter, Betty Poynter, was my mother's mother.

It's great to find your profile and to look through your findings!

Take care,
