I am very proud of my heritage. Even as a child I would walk through cemeteries reading the names and inscriptions. It just was never enough for me to just know the names and dates ... I imagined the - (dash) between. That's who we are... not the beginning and end, but that - in between.
I know that we live in the "here and now", but actually, we have a here and now thanks to the ones who've gone before.
I'm grateful for this site to honor and remember.
