I have been researching my roots for many years. There is something very satisfying in discovering all about my family history; and there is always more to learn! |
As well as its primary purpose being a grave registration site, FindAGrave is a wonderful way to memorialize our ancestors, and a great genealogical resource. My husband and I enjoy contributing to this website, honoring those who have gone before us, and helping others to find their long lost family.
We respect the guidelines set forth for this website.
We will be happy to add proper info and links to memorials. We do not link to burial unknowns.
Transfer requests will be made for direct family members, within 4 generations, as set by the guidelines.
Please make all SACs and transfer requests through the edit tab on the memorial itself.
All photos that we post are bound by copyright rules. Do not take any of them for your own use, neither on this website, nor anywhere else. Do not alter them for re-posting here, nor anywhere else. Thank you :)

Hi Carol and Pete,
Mamie Erb Boehringer's mother, Emma Florence Erb, gave Mamie her own name because she did not want to reveal the father of Mamie. This information is per her granddaughter that Mamie raised. Mamie's daughter, Mildred, died when this granddaughter was pre-school so Mamie raised her. Emma Florence took her secret to her grave.
Thanks for all you do with Findagrave! ~Dora (Mountaineer)

Thank you! I will!!

Thank you for the help. Do you believe there is a duplicate entry for William P. Wolfe in this cemetery? The birth year given is different, but not the death year.
|Buried Treasure||RE: Boyhans and Molloys|
Sorry, I dont't know what a SAC is! My email: email@example.com.
I'd love to share any info that I have, But I don't know much about the Molloys. James and Mary Boyhan Molloy was as far back as I knew before I found Mary on Find A Grave.
I found it interesting that when I looked at their oldest daughter, Mary Kathleen's info, her last name was McCluskey. That's my mom's maiden name.
Maybe Annie Molloy and Mary Kathleen married brothers.
My dear old Aunt Mary, my mom's oldest sister, born in Wishaw, Scotland, used to tell me about how she grew up in Montreal. She learned French as a small child, and as many children do, she translated for her parents in the local businesses. Her FindAGrave memorial # is 126171687.
When I was little, every January she'd have to register as an ALIEN! She didn't look like an alien to me. So she explained that she was born in Scotland and told me stories of her life.
Too bad she never told me about her grandmother, Mary Boyhan Malloy. Must've been named for her, right? My grandparents moved to the US in 1922 from Canada, so Aunt Mary and Great Grandma Mary (d. 1925 in Canada) must have been in Canada at the same time. It's fun to speculate.
Let me know what kind of info I can give you. I love this stuff!

Hello, Carol & Pete. I've found a grave that you catalogued that I believe is my great grandmother. It' very exciting to see; I've been trying to find a Boyhan for a long time. Her record shows that Mary Boyhan had a daughter named Annie, and that was my grandmother's name! Annie Molloy. She was born in Scotland and lived in Ecorse Michigan when my mother was born on 1930. And I know that some of my mother's older siblings were born in Canada before Annie and her husband Harry McCluskey moved to the U.S. You've recorded her brothers' graves in Wayne county Michigan, too, so now I know more family. The puzzle is coming together. Thanks so much! Patty Ellis
|Roland A. Dunlap||William T. Dunlap|

Earl and Romaine my brother in law and sister in law do not

|Roland A. Dunlap||William T. Dunlap|
Carol & Pete, Thank you so very very much for posting William T. Dunlap. I have looked high and low for him. My
husband is a nephew to William, and when he died we were in
Florida. By the time we had got back to Pennsylvania his
Furneral Services were allover and hewas buried. But no one
couldtell us where he was buried.
Again THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH.
