Bio

I was born in the 40's to Edward Truie Smith & Cora Lee Byrd in Chattanooga, Tennessee where my father worked during the World War II. My Roots are from Alabama, (Sand Mountain) Dekalb County on my father side, & Rome Georgia, Floyd County on my mother's side of the family. I'm researching the names Smith, Dalrymple, Jolly and Hall. Most of these folks are from Alabama. Also researching the Georgia ancestors Byrd, Plemons, Johnson, Rampy, Abney. During the 50's my parents moved to Michigan and that is where I make my home. My heart and soul will always be on Sand Mountain. You can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl. So every chance I get I head for the hills and do so enjoy searching for my ancestors when I'm there.
