Quimby plot
Hi Jo,

Thank you for the photos of A. W. Quimby's plot. Could you tell me who the others next to her are? I see other headstones in the photo but can't make out the names.

Thank you for taking the time to take these photos and upload them here.

Alfred Anderson at Forest Home Cemetery
Hi! I need the burial Section and Lot Numbers in order to take a photograph for you. This cemetery's staff does not help photo volunteers, and the burial location is not available anywhere else.

Phone: 708-366-1900

Last year I fulfilled over 450 photo requests at this cemetery after the burial location was provided.

Thank you!

Norval Melvin Hanson #36490622

You transferred this memorial to me some time ago and I have been diligently documenting my history. Through my Grand Aunt, I discovered the story of Norval Hanson death in Gully MN. It is quite a story and the writing is particular to the early 1900's.

I thought you might enjoy the story, please check it out.

I would like to suggest that the surname on these gravestones is actually Ovelprud.

Olson/Larson at Nora Cemetery
I sent you an edit to link Emma Larson & Edward Larson to their parents Lars & Maria Olson in Nora Cemetery. With different last names, I thought you might think this edit was a mistake. It is correct though, all of Lars' children took to last name of Larson.

RE: Family
Thanks for the reply to my question. I've been doing research on my family for my tree on and 2 other web sites. Recently I started to use Fin A Grave to cross reference some of my findings. Barba (Brabo) Botten - Paaverud is my Great Great Grandmother. It seems like they had a lot of kids and they have moved around some. They also started to spell the last name a couple of ways over the years.
Thank again for the help,

Thanks for the photos of my family's stones. I've just recently found the change to the past name and it has opened a lot of information. Do you live close to the cemetery in MN? Poverud is the way the name was changed by my G Great Mother Barbo. It was spelled Paaevrud before. I can't seem to locate her husband Truls stone. I think it may be one of the stones that is weathered really bad. Are you related to the family?
Thanks again,
John Bjorge
