My goal in family history is to tie whole families together. I am always excited to meet new cousins no matter how distant. I always prove my lines and in some cases I am called out over it since Primary Sources sometimes conflict with oral family histories. Primary Sources are taken as FACT. Primary Sources are rarely wrong with the exception of spelling and dates sometimes skewed. Many times family stories are not accurate. That is why to be genealogically correct, you must rely on those Primary Sources. It is not my job to change the minds of those who disagree with me. They can believe what they want. I will continue to document, document, document, as my 25 year history as a Family History Consultant trained me to do
