RE: Levi Brooks, 135946597
Thanks very much for the cemetery link. I had no idea this was a separate cemetery. I thought from the Find A Grave photo it was a roadside park on the order of 50 x 30 feet or something like that, coincidentally across the street from the Mount Pleasant entrance.

Any Brooks burials you come across there on a re-visit will be of great interest. I really appreciate your kindness in "going the extra mile" for me.

Levi Brooks, 135946597
I have a followup request. Find A Grave has a photo of what is called the "Levi and Shuah Brooks Memorial Park and Cemetery" at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=pis&PIcrid=1585714&PIpi=57328659&PIMode=cemetery. The photo shows a granite wall on which can be seen inscribed "BROOKS MEMORIAL PARK," but arborvitae shrubbery covers the bottom of the wall, obscuring any additional inscription which may be recorded there.

The question is whether Levi, Shuah and the 3 children are buried inside Mt. Pleasant, next to the monument you photographed, or whether your photograph represents a cenotaph, in which case they would be buried in the park, which is located across the street from the cemetery entrance.

Would it be possible for you to make a quick return visit and determine whether any additional inscription on the park wall behind the arborvitae indicates burials on that spot?

Thanks, and sorry to ask you to go back.

Chris

Since that's a shared monument for Levi, wife Shuah, and three of their children, I'd appreciate if you could also add the photograph to the linked memorial pages for Shuah, Levi M., Eliza and Alfred. Thanks!

Thank you so much for going to the cemetery to take a photo of Ruth Stockbridge's grave. The photo you posted however says "Ariana" on it. Could it be by mistake you upload the wrong photo? Thank you again for being a photo volunteer. I really appreciate it.

Carl Johan & Anna Engstrom
Your contribution of their burial in Lake Ida Cemetery is incorrect. I believe that they are buried in a cemetery a few miles away (that is St. Lukes). St.Lukes cemetery is located at the site where the Lake Ida Church was located before it burned in 1920 or so. There are other Engstrom's buried there and one unmarked that is labeled, unknown year of death, Engstorm. The Lake Ida Cemetery was affiliated with the Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Church and the church was never built. The Cemetery's records show no Engstrom buried there. Would you please update Findagrave.com accordingly. Thanks!
