Also, about Agnes...

Do you know how to insert a clickable link into a bio?

In the original edit I sent you, I included the link to the First Families Order, and I was hoping you would add the HTML code to her bio so it would insert a clickable link people could click on it and read more about it.

If you need me to resend the edit with the HTML code for the link, I can do that if you want.

Thank you,

Deb

Hi Lynda,

I am glad you like the bio data for Agnes Steen.

Unfortunately, I do not know anything about the First Family organization, however I looked at their website and they have a page that discusses membership.

This page discusses the history:
History of the Order

This age discusses membership requirements: Membership info

Basically, this is what it says:

ELIGIBILITY FOR MEMBERSHIP:

Anyone who can prove lineal descent from a person who lived in what is now the State of Mississippi between 1699, when the French established the settlement of Old Biloxi, and December 10, 1817, when Mississippi was admitted to the Union, is eligible for membership in The Order of the First Families of Mississippi.

Anyone interested in becoming a member must be sponsored by two members and approved by the General Council of the Orderís officers before being invited to apply for membership.

Corresponding Secretary General / Membership
Mark Henry: markhenry@integrity.com

Good luck! :)

RE: Elizabeth Ann Peaden
Hi Linda, Aunt Elizabeth was a saint raising 4 children in her own. And, still putting herself through college after all the kids graduated. Thanks for the kind remarks. Jack

You are most welcome. I will be back at that cemetery Labor Day. I will place all photos on site that don't already have one posted on Find A Grave. Also any memorials that are missing from the site, I hope to add them as well. WYNDY

Thanks so much for the Find A Grave page on my family member. I appreciate the family information. That is a big help. You did list his wife as Keen and Kent. Either way it is more than I had before THANKS! Lynda White

Funny you would comment, I just saw his son Billy and his wife Tommie at the bank not 20 minutes ago. Billy is also a preacher and did several of my family members funerals, including my son and this was shortly after his own daughter passed away.
W. O.'s obit does say Keen for his wife so I have corrected her memorial to read Keen.
Thanks for catching that.

Annie Vituria Myers Gray
Hello Lynda,

I think we may be cousins because I saw the flowers you posted on FindAGrave.com Memorial # 53177319

What is your connection to Annie Vituria Myers Gray? My lineage to her is as follows:

Gary Eugene Gray < Ronald Eugene Gray < Clyde Eugene Gray < Annie Vituria Myers Gray

She is my great grandmother. I never knew her because she died less than a month after I was born, in September, 1960.

I live in Spring, Texas with my wife, Paula and we have one child, Connor, who is 12 years old. He will be going into the 7th grade this fall.

I would love to connect with you, one of the exciting things about genealogy is finding family you never knew you had!

Is it possible that Amanda and James Columbus were married in 1874? Your memorial says 1854 but that conflicts with James first marriage to Rachel Kersh.
