|My name is Melissa and I joined this websight to try to find additional information on my family history and add the information that I have to try to help other people with the information that I have. Also, if you do try to contact me directly through email can you please write "findagrave" in the subject line. Thank you. If not I will most likely think it is spam and delete it. |
I also have began to transcribe cemeteries with as much information that I can find on who is buried there.

Thanks for all your work! It has made it easier for me as I live in Memphis, Tennessee! Is it possible to transfer my aunt's memorial (#45708228) to me? Thanks in advance!
|tom stevenson||The McCoubrie Stevenson family tree|
Hi Melissa, My name is Thomas Stevenson
Jane Bussey's maiden name was McCoubrie. Jane had a sister Lillian Irene McCoubrie Who died young at 18.
Jane's Mother name was Lillian E. McCoubrie..Her maiden name was Stevenson and was my Great Grandfather's Sister.
My Great Grand Father was William J. Stevenson also my Grand Father and Father's name. I think Jane lived near Philadelphia for awhile because I think her mother Lillian E McCoubrie is buried near Philly.
Jane's Mother Lillian E. McCoubrie Stevenson and my Great Grandfather's Father was a Robert Stevenson and they live in what was called Allegheny City, now part of the Northside of Pittsburgh. If you would have any info or pic's of any of these relatives it would be greatly appreciated.
Just wondered if you were still active here since I sent you a suggestion last month about a duplicate of yours that needs to be removed
Let me know if I need to send it again

I would like to take over the record in findagrave for John and Ethel Windeknecht. They are my grandparents. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org
If you come across any Hartmiller besides Donald can you let me know. The person who created 14905860 George Hartmiller and 14905928 Cora Hartmiller has them buried in Montana and I think it should be Cleveland Ohio. TIA.

|Edward Stephens||Mount Zion Cemetery Gay, WV|
I am the great nephew of Cora Crook Stephens Morris and her husband Benjamin Franklin Morris who are interred in our family cemetery.
A common mistake is the correct name of the cemetery. It is Zion Church Cemetery AKA Stephens Family Cemetery at Gay, WV. If you search find a grave Stephens Family Cemetery Gay, WV, you will find a complete listing of the burials there. I have found it on find a grave many times as Mount Zion Cemetery which is incorrect. There are also burials listed there who infact are not in this cemetery. The last burial there was in 1998. Sadly, we can not reach the cemetery anymore except on foot. Our family has cared for the cemetery since the 1960's which is why we refer to it now as the Stephens Family Cemetery. We are all related somehow. I have been fighting the county road department trying to have the road repaired but since no one lives along that part of the road anymore, they refuse to fix it. Thank you for your time, Ed Stephens
Littman Wiernik was my great-grandma's first cousin from Grajewo, Poland. They had moved to Gera in Germany. He and his wife were rescued by a Cleveland relative but he died in 1943. His granddaughter Ethel (born in Germany as Adelheid) had gone to Mandate Palestine but then went to Cleveland. So Littman has two headstones. This one is the original one, but when Ethel died another stone was put up that his his name on it and Ethel's. She died in 1979. So I was quite puzzled by this. There is no stone for his wife Sarah, and it's odd to have a headstone with a grandfather and granddaughter. Ethel never married. Are you also related to Littman Wiernik? I' my trying to get information for his great-grandddaughter in Israel. His children in Gera were murdered, but various grandchildren managed to get out (they were in Zionist groups, at least two in a model Kibbutz in Berlin). They are discussed in the book Juden in Gera.
