Happy Hunting! |
IF you find where I have made any mistakes please let me know.
If tears could build a stairway,
and memories a lane.
I would walk right up to Heaven
and bring you back again.
No farewell words were spoken,
No time to say "Goodbye"
You were gone before I knew it,
and only God knows why.
My heart still aches with sadness,
and secret tears still flow.
What it meant to love you-
No one can ever know.
But now I know you want me
to mourn for you no more;
To remember all the happy times.
life still has much in store.
Since you'll never be forgotten,
I pledge to you today-
A hollowed place within my heart
is where you'll always stay.

May I use your photo of Mt. Moriah on my ancestry.com site? I have a family connection with the Johnson family buried there. Thank you for considering this.

I have created John C. Sanders a memorial page. I did not set one up for Lillie V since there was no date of death I didn't know if she was still alive or not.

You are very welcome. Had to clean alot of the dirt away just so that the wording could be read. It was a pleasure.

Always glad to help.

I made the link requests on Ida Dobbins 100874308. All except one child, which I have asked for an acct transfer to link these as well. Please check behind me that I linked it correctly. Thanks so much. I will try to find personal pictures of them as well.
i came upon his memorial/listing almost by accident and i, too, noticed how nice the grave looked. i'm going to see if someone can get another photo of it from the other side by the fence. i also googled a line from the inscription--it's a poem by peg whiting. thanks for getting back to me about it. orleans

Happy to do that for you!!!

At the rear of the cemetery there are a lot of Dobbs graves and they were just forward of that area. This is to the left of the grave with the high walls around it. And I did not see any other Sanders.
