It is my honor to fulfill your photo requests. |
If I have created a memorial for a family member of yours, don't hesitate to request a transfer.
Any photo I have posted on Find a Grave is intended to be used.... Please feel free to use them in personal use and documentation.
I am also researching my family line of Chastain; Pettyjohn and Lieberum

Isn't it odd - I've come to the conclusion that my gggfa Wm Jas' children by his first wife use one spelling (the furniture store folk) and the ones by the 2nd use the other (Adah was by the 2nd). The Cincy recs are mixed too.
Good luck with the FH ofc. I have a cousin named Mallie Ruth whose stone is correct but the ofc has Mollie. They wanted a death ctf before they'd fix their records. And who can tell a from o in handscript, eh? - Sandra

|Donna Harris||Re: Johnie Harris|
Thank you so much for your time and the extra mile you went to locate Johnie's grave. I was hoping for a marker but not everyone has one. I really appreciate the photo showing where he is buried. Thank you for being a Find A Grave Volunteer.
|Evelyn Linger Thorn||Hayward H. Linger|
Thanks for the tombstone photo of the Hayward Hoffman Linger grave. It is much appreciated.
|Yarngal||Levi M. Bates grave update! :)|
Thought I would leave an update about the grave of my great-great-grandfather Levi M. Bates. Thanks to the photos that you took of the Forest Hill books for me we were able to solve the mystery of the correct location of his grave! With that info I was able to go on and find more documentation, enlisted the help of the SCV and acquired him his CSA Veteran's headstone! I was in Chattanooga last weekend and saw the stone in person, and I just added a photo of it on his Findagrave page. I can't thank you enough! I couldn't have done this without your help! Thanks a million!
Ps. Are your Chastains North Georgia Chastains? There were tons of Chastains in the towns that my G-G-Grandpa Levi grew up in (Union County, GA & Fannin County, GA) :)
