Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm a ten-year genealogy researcher who was left a legacy by my aunt and father -- who did genealogy when the work was hard and painstaking. It is my joy and responsibility to preserve their work and expand upon is such a wonderful opportunity to create an online memorial for those I love dearly... and in the strangest way "bring to life" those I never had the opportunity to meet.I have attempted to include accurate information on the memorials I have created; however, if you are aware of errors, please let me know. Many of my memorials are family; however, if your relationship is closer -- or you have information you would like to include (especially pictures!), please contact me. I will gladly transfer memorials to people with a closer relationship than I have. Please feel free to use any of my photos in your personal family tree or on your online family tree.

Welch Family married to Willis Allen Atwell
I am Willis Allen Atwell's niece, but not either niece that lived with him and his wife Thelma Lucy (Welch) Atwell (1923-2005) for a while beginning in 1964, I think. I am the youngest daughter of Ernest Burnell Williams and Elio {correct spelling of her first name, we have copy of her birth certificate} Margarine (Atwell). Thelma Lucy (Welch) Atwell's father was Richard Raymond Welch (1894-1976) who married Lillie Pearl (Fry) Welch 1924-1998). Richard's Raymond Welch's father was Frank George Welch (1864-1941) who married Amelia Pauline (Raesler) Welch.

I was wondering if you have any pictures of Elio Margarine Williams, who was Willis Allen Atwell's sister? Or of Linda and Peggy Williams, who were the two sisters that stayed with them in California?

Also, do you know the location of the farm or the name of the farm they had in California?

The story of how they met is so sweet! I had just recently saw the movie The Harvy Girls with Judy Garland when I read the story how they met!!

Betty Mellen
Hi -- You have Betty as burial unknown because some of her ashes were scattered on the East Coast. I just discovered her at Eagle Point National Cemetery (Section B, site 936) so apparently some of her cremains are with her husband, Richard. Just thought you might want to know so you can edit her memorial page. Also, I uploaded a photo of their headstone.
