Bio and Links
Bio Photo I got into genealogy in 2007 and I just love it. The main families I'm researching are: Powers, Bell, Benford, Warren, and McIntosh on my father's side and Hawk, Herndon, Dunlap, Lunsford, and Davis on my mother's side. I will gladly share any information I have.

RE: PS----Bell??
Some of the older Bell family here were originally from that area.

I notice that you noted Bell Family. Are you related to any Bell family members in either Pike or Montgomery Counties (Alabama)??

RE: J C Dunlap and his wife Mollie
Actually, I am in the process of closing out all of the Find A Grave work I have done, so I was glad to get a message from you with interest in some of the records. Hopefully, you can use them.

Jr, I, II, and III

My understanding has always been as you desctibe, although I have not been aware of the Details of your U. S, Grant example; however, I know a family in which a name has been carried to "V" in collateral lines in the same generations.
This message has been inspired by another member's displeasure at my use of such cadency in a memorial, referring me to your discussion.

Yes, that is what I needed. You may be familiar with the monument in the park down past the library. I'm creating cenotaphs for all the heros and John is listed in documents as "Jr" but on his grave stone and the monument, and now my cenotaph, he is a "III".

I knew you'd find the answer. Thank you.

Hi Janie. Have you ever heard of a John Doe III, named after an uncle, or any relative other than the father, John Doe II?
I have a John Doe Sr. & Jr in many docs but elseware as II AND III.

RE: Traylor memorial in Salem Baptist Church, Carroll County, GA
Oliver is the brother of my brother in law's grandfather. I don't need any transferred to me. I'm in Montana, and if I get my sister involved in Find A Grave, who is in Carroll county, maybe she might want the transfers. Thank you so much for doing the edits and the offer of the transfer. Thank you, and God bless!
