Bio

I caught the genealogy bug in the early 1990s and have been researching my family's lineage ever since. I am a self-taught genealogist with a background in Decision Sciences, a field dedicated to business analytics. I suppose my love of solving puzzles naturally led me to genealogy! I believe that cemeteries are a WEALTH of information, so I travel to southern Alabama whenever I can simply to locate and inventory cemeteries. This is especially true regarding older plots that have been long forgotten. I try to perform full transcriptions with headstone photos whenever possible, time permitting. Current family lines being researched include Dreadin, Black, Vickrey, Wiggins, Taylor, and Seale on my maternal grandfather's side. My maternal grandmother's lineage includes Kline, Knapp, Hackenberg, Otto, Bauersachs/Bowersox, Bolender, and Field.
