We have enjoyed listing and photographing cemeteries in the Granger, Indiana area. If we listed one of your family members, or someone you would like to have, we will gladly transfer them to you. If you would like to have the listing removed or any part of it removed, please let us know and we will respect your wishes.|
Please use findagrave numbers when asking me to do something. Better yet, use the EDIT tabs.
The personal photos I enter are either from the South Bend Tribune or Elkhart Truth or from the funeral home that listed their passing. I am just trying to respect them with their photo.
Thank You for ALL of the wonderful feedback. Your fantastic comments are what keeps us doing what we do. We do this for You.
If you find ANY Mistakes I have made, Please bring it to my attention and I will do my best to correct them. If there are any duplicates that I have made, let me know.
"PLEASE" use the edit tabs for any and all changes-additions-or other info "PLEASE"
In response to ALL of the people who accuse us of "It's only about the numbers." Yes it is only about the numbers. If I list only one person, I have only helped one family. If I list a thousand people, I have helped a lot of families. The more I list, the more I help and the more I give the respect they deserve. Make any sense to anyone?

Thanks for the reply. The Elwood in my family tree had a father named Andrew, who died before the 1900 census, so he may not have been attached to any documents with his father.
It was worth a shot. Thanks anyway!

Could you please transfer Loyal & Geneve Beehler to me. They are my great aunt and uncle. The numbers are #78761123 & #167347543.

I apologize, I got the wrong mother. Her mother is Edna Isabelle Fischer Kiefer, # 130719353. I've had so much trouble with this line it's not even funny. Mainly from duplicate memorials and lack of documentation. Please link her mother to her.

The correct parents for Elaine Olive Kiefer Essig are Austin L. Kiefer 130719242 and Edna I. Fisher Kiefer 115019115. For some reason there is duplicate memorials. With the last name spelled wrong. The duplicates spelling is Keifer.

Thank you for looking, I did find a Lawrence Orville Zinn.. but yet, can't find any connection either, family originally came from Virginia, to Kentucky, and from Kentucky to spreading out all over. My dad was born in Frankfort Indiana, Clinton County, so I am thinking maybe a good friend. Hopefully I will stumble across this some day. It is just an odd name. My dad named my brother, Gregory Zinn and Greg named his first son Adam Zinn.. so they kept that name going. I just hope someday I can find the "rhyme or reason" as to that name in the early 1918 when my dad was born. By the way, thank you for all the work that you have contributed to Find-A-Grave. :)

Hello, I noticed in your name "Zinn".. I have been looking for this name as it is involved with my dad. His given name was Lawrence Zinn Eskridge, and I don't think they just pulled it out of a hat. Do you know if you have any Eskridge's in your ancestory. So far, I have not come across an Eskridge marrying a Zinn, as I figure it would have to be a female who married into the line somewhere and gave my dad the "Zinn" name.. However, have found none in the immediate 4 steps of grandparents. Also, thank you for transferring Bazzler Eskridge to me. You also have Lavon Eskridge, but as of yet, I cannot conclude if that is her maiden name, married name, or what, so far.. Still trying to track some information on her, or him. Julie (Eskridge) Taylor 47008461.

Thank you for your offer.
If you have contact with any of the families please send that info. It really helps.
My students and myself have been trying to find all of the pictures for the VVMF. We have added over 1000+ pictures in the last 3 years. The list is down to 20 now. We have a massive collection of letters, documents and medals from the Gold Star families. We have also been adding photos from other states. We have been working on this project for the past 31+ years. We also have files on the individuals from Indiana. Indiana lost 1621 during the war not the 1500 or so the state is showing. My students did all of the research for the Vietnam, Korea and World War II Memorials in downtown Indy. Joe Kernan (former POW) former Gov. of Indiana asked us to help. I am sure there are a lot of people out there that don't know this. Please watch this video from youtube about what we have been doing.
There are many more at our web site.
Thanks and have a great day,
