Bio

I was born in Brooklyn, New York. My birth mother was Helen Ann Grace Kish, and birth father was Acisclo Striker Y Perez. A few days after my birth, I was given away to a couple who were friends with Helen and Acisclo. As I was growing up I can recall my birth mother visiting the person she gave me to, whom I believed to be my natural mother. Helen would come visit us with her other children, and while the ladies chatted, all the children would play together.

About age 7, I was told by my birth mother that I was her daughter. As a result, the people who were raising me never let her see me again. After the death of the mother who raised me I set out to find information about my birth parents and my other siblings, wanting to know more about my heritage. This quest has turned into an obsession for me, as I continued to search for my ancestry and where I came from. My search started in 1989 and is still going strong.
