Please Add Death Cert. to the Memorials. They contain a wealth of information and will be faster for me to verify the info. You want added..

Edits will be done to memorials but only when I can.

I am one of many willing to take over records. This really will help reduce duplicates. It would also be a good idea to leave someone instructions on how to do make these transfers should you go inactive without warning.***** Thank You (Borrowed from another FAG Contributor)
A few interesting Find a Grave suggestions:

"If the interred had more than one last name, they may be added to the last name field. Our search will search all names in the last name field."

"Put the entire first name (if known), even if the grave marker is only an initial. Put the entire middle name (if known), even if the grave marker is only an initial."

"Since the move to Ancestry and the new website, newspaper obituaries, death certificates and other scanned documentation is allowed. We encourage members to move the images down to the bottom of the photo display so that they are not the first thing you see when viewing a memorial page."
Thank you,
Find a Grave Administration

"Explain your relationship in the request! Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not make the transfer. Bulk surname requests should not be made."
