When a distant relative, Sarah Locklin Taylor (3rd Cousin, 1x removed) told me about FAG and I was able to trace my people based on her contributions, I decided to jump on the bandwagon. |
I am concentrating on south Cobb County, Douglas Co and old Campbell Co in Ga. as well as Berry/Pearson and related families in Hancock Co Ga and the Barge family. And in Texas, the Campbell Family.
PLEASE BE AWARE of FAG rules, standards and practices.
I love to add links and names and anything else that is relevant to the individual, so don't hesitate to ask. Please use the Suggest a Correction feature on the memorial -- I rarely visit my profile page. Thanks!!

Hello there,I see I made the right decision to transfer.Even though Sabret is distantly related,I know very little about him or his family;and you've already added more info.Thank you for all you do on F.A.G.,and may GOD bless.

Thank you for taking the picture of Edward's headstone.
He left with his mother in 1924 (leaving behind a father and 2 siblings in Alaska). My father, his little brother, was very private. I found Edward at last because of your photo.
My niece lives in Atlanta and a couple years ago she and I went to Rose Hill. It was rather emotional.....at last he is found. My brother, my niece's father, is named for Edward.
Thank you so much for taking this on!

I am a relative of Bud Hix and Ray Hix. I was told that you were the one managing them by Sandra Whittington and I was wondering if you would transfer management of their memorials to me.

There is, but I am not picky either way. The note section at the bottom is where I usually add it. (My proof for what I am asking others to add) No problem. Thanks.
|Patricia Richardson Tillman||William H Pitts|
I have added the parental links you furnished but I could not locate memorials for them. Do you know what the H. stands for or where they are buried? Thanks for the info.
|Karyn Buckner Garvin||RE: Duplicate Entry|
What I was trying to tell you was you needed to send that memorial number to the person who has the duplicate so they can easily find it and verify the original is there. You sent them the name and the memorial number of their dupe but not the number of the original. But I'll go ahead and send in both for a merge on my next list.

Thank you for your help! As far as not having my email publicly posted, I did until about 6 months ago when it was hacked. I doubt that it had anything to do with this site, but I have been much more cautious about it since then. Also, while 99% of the users of this site are great people, there are a few that are extremely rude and nasty. I hope you don't run into them, but if they post messages publicly, it is easier to report them to the admins.
Again, thank you for all that you do for Find A Grave!
Would it be possible to have this memorial transferred to me please. This is one of my family members. Memorial# 82713758 Bobby Ray Boynton
Thanks so much!
