Bio and Links
Bio Photo When a distant relative, Sarah Locklin Taylor (3rd Cousin, 1x removed) told me about FAG and I was able to trace my people based on her contributions, I decided to jump on the bandwagon.

I am concentrating on south Cobb County, Douglas Co and old Campbell Co in Ga. as well as Berry/Pearson and related families in Hancock Co Ga and the Barge family. And in Texas, the Campbell Family.

PLEASE BE AWARE of FAG rules, standards and practices.

So there is no confusion, please suggest your corrections through the Edit tab on the memorial, not on my profile page.

I respectfully request that if you have changes or additions to a memorial that I created, biographical information or an obituary, please do not leave the information in the flower/token section of the memorial. Instead, please use the Edit tab and send the information to me to include.

If you send a correction or suggestion and I have no way to contact you for clarification (no email or messages disabled) chances are the edit will not be made by me.

I rarely visit my profile page. Thanks!!

Mrs W J Perryman
Re: Find A Grave Memorial# 33536555 Mrs W J Perryman My 4th great grandmother was Lucinda Head Perryman who married William J Perryman on 30 Sep 1823 in Elbert County, GA. Unless W J Perryman married again after 1871 she would have been the Mrs Perryman you suspect is buried near W J Perryman. Lucinda Head was born 13 Apr 1803 and died 1871. Their daughter Willie Rebecca Perryman was born 30 Sep 1828 and married Francis (Frank) Gallant 17 Mar 1853 in McMinn County, TN. They were my 3rd great grandparents.

RE: Katie York
Thank you very much! That means a lot to me, since I remember her from my childhood.

RE: Jeremiah Pearson
During those times, wealthy families owned huge tracts of land...too bad they had to fight over it. Regarding the crypt, does that mean Jeremiah's body is missing? I knew that was his wife next to him. She is also above ground?
Anyway, you have my curiosity. Perhaps, I might start researching the Pearson side of the family; as up until now, I've mainly focused on the Meriwether/Chandler sides. Let's stay in touch if something new comes up.

RE: Jeremiah Pearson
Your list looks alot more complete than mine. If I may suggest, perhaps the Meriwether Society website would have more info; or maybe the Daughters of American Revolution?
Also, if not done yet, I'd submit that offspring list to the managers of Jeremiah and Mary's memorials. Maybe they know something more about it.
I was unaware of a court battle.
If I can be of any further assistance, please feel free to ask. Regards
PS: I saw Jeremiah's grave photos you recently posted. Is that an empty outdoor crypt he has, or is he buried underneath?...just curious.

RE: Jeremiah Pearson
Nice to hear from you Pat. Seems we are related. I'm rarely on email, if at all; esp after getting hacked. I'm on this site almost daily and I don't mind if we exchange info here. I'm very interested in what you have to contribute vs what I may have(which isn't much more than what you see already). Best regards

Thank You so much for that. I appreciate it. As for her husband, I'm asking family where he is buried. So I can correct that.

RE: Wheeler Slocumb Cemetery
Thank you Pat for the transfer. Yes, I am related to all the Wheelers and Slocumbs buried there. If you would like to transfer them all when you get a chance that would be great. Thank you for creating these memorials. I will be adding any that I can that are missing from the family plot.
