The actual date is 1884. Must have been tired when I sent it. Sorry for the error.

That's interesting ... cousin. After filtering through your memorials, I see that you manage "Charlotte". You should link her memorial to her parents. That would link four female siblings to their parents. Wonder what happened to Mary (?)
I had intended to go back and change the given name to Janet, after management transferred over to me; but my attention was diverted; and I never got back to it. I think the memorial was created as "Nettie" from the cemetery book.

Thanks for the edit suggestion. She was my ggg-grandmother too ... through her daughter, Permelia. I have her given name as Janet (rather than Janette)in the family tree; but my information has been handed down within our branch of family; and I could change it if you have some documentary evidence that you could share.

Might help if I included the question this time.... looking at your picture, i see a "military" marker. Do you know what that is for?

|AKDR||RE: Blanche E Robinson|
I know absolutely nothing about the fate of her mother Della Fairs (or Farris). I have looked for her following her divorce from Tom Nave (she sued for custody also) but it stands to reason based on her life to that point that she may have died young, leaving poor Blanche to be fostered by someone else. If she received any maintenance or child support from Tom it would not have been much and it would have ended in 1904. I have been researching the Nave family for about a decade and only just found out about the existence of Blanche. I don't know anything about Nettie Iredale or her relationship to Blanche.

|Chris Brady||RE: Annie Johnson|
The Kentucky death records list her date of death as 3 Jan 1907.
|Gary Powell||RE: Obits|
Findagrave guidelines have changed drastically since I visited them last. I suppose this is due to new ownership. However, regarding obits in the current guidelines:
"You SHOULD NOT copy obituary notices from newspapers (or from funeral home notices or web sites) to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so or you are the author of the obituary. Some obituaries that were published IN 1922 OR EARLIER are now in the PUBLIC DOMAIN....IF AN OBITUARY IS ADDED to the memorial record, it should list the newspaper and date the obit was printed for example 'Published in the Hattiesburg American, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Internet Edition, April 11, 2007'."
So it appears that though they recommend that newspaper obits NOT be copied to memorials if you do then include the source.
