RE: Rest View Cemetery
It may be that someone decided it needed a name recently. I have been there several times over the last few years and there was never a sign. If you check on Find A Grave,, or other on-line references it has always been State Hospital. I have run into this before, where a cemetery is renamed for whatever reason...which screws up decades old records. There are any number of duplicate cemeteries listed under two and even three different names on this site...and once the damage is done it is almost impossible to correct.

Restview Cemetery
What you call Restview in Yankton is correctly called the "State Hospital Cemetery" and is already completely listed as such. You incorrectly named cemetery and all your listings are duplicates.

Transfer Request, Schehr
Hey Steve,
Wondering if you would mind transferring two memorials to my care. Among my ancestry hints, I found photos of the graves of my great grandparents Franz & Catherine Schehr (117104440 & 117104579) in St Louis cemetery. I'd delayed entering them while I looked for my grandmother's grave, which was unmarked in Calvary cemetery. Meanwhile, I've added my only photo of them coming in from the fields of their farm on Taylorsville Rd.
Thanks so much for all of the photos and information you've contributed. Pretty amazing.
Best wishes,

Do you by any chance still have that obit citation for Blanche? I am trying to figure out the relationship with Nettie Iredale and it would be helpful to have a copy of the obit and/or citation.
(Sorry--I know it has been a while.)

A while back Find A Grave was hacked and photos went to the wrong place. Just send me Oliver Pratt's memorial # and I will delete photo.

The actual date is 1884. Must have been tired when I sent it. Sorry for the error.

RE: Nettie Caroline Huddleston
Steve ...

That's interesting ... cousin. After filtering through your memorials, I see that you manage "Charlotte". You should link her memorial to her parents. That would link four female siblings to their parents. Wonder what happened to Mary (?)

I had intended to go back and change the given name to Janet, after management transferred over to me; but my attention was diverted; and I never got back to it. I think the memorial was created as "Nettie" from the cemetery book.
